Morning Toast Toastmasters

President Olive Tech-Orias signing off on her last meeting as President in the Toastmasters year that ends on 30 June 2026. She will be our Immediate Past President from 1 July 2026.

Our Meeting Evaluator was Nidheesh Gangadharan, who presented the Best Evaluation Award to Aida Sakatova, and President Olive Tech-Orias presented the Best Speech Award to Donald Jessup.

Table Topics speakers were Nidheesh Gangadharan and our guest, Mel, who were evaluated by our President Olive Tech-Orias and Donald Jessup.

Our speech evaluators, Julia McInnes and Adia Sakatova, were so diligent that they did not take a break, while other members enjoyed a cup of tea or coffee.

Chairman Alastair Priestley, Timekeeper Raghu Bhupathiraju, Toastmaster Sandeep Nannepaga, and Grammarian Janey Clark lead us through our meeting with “serendipity” as our theme and “sagacity” as our word of the day.

President Olive-Tech-Orias presented the Best Speech Award to Aida Sakatova, and Meeting Evaluator Jonathan Choy presented the Best Evaluator Award to Donald Jessep.

President Olive Tech-Orias is welcoming members of Morning Toast and guests from Daybreak Toastmasters to our “inclusiveness” themed meeting.

Table Topics Master Julia McInnes presented the People’s Choice for the Best Table Topics to Nidheesh Gangadharan, and Table Topics Evaluator presented the Best Table Topics Award to Graham Gunn.

Julia McInnes was the Table Topics Master, with challenging table topics she wrote up after being awakened by her children at 3 am with nightmares! The Table Topics speakers were Darin Wolfaardt, Aida Sakatova, Jonathan Choy, Sandeep Nannepaga, Nidheesh Gangadharan, and Graham Gunn.
