To our beautiful Koru whānau

Over the years, so many of the families who have joined Koru have come to us because a friend, neighbour, colleague, or family member shared their experience. There is no greater compliment than recommending us to someone you care about.
If Koru has been a special part of your child's journey, we would be so grateful if you could share our flyer or tag someone who may be looking for a preschool where children are truly known, nurtured, and encouraged to flourish.

We know choosing an early learning centre is one of the biggest decisions a family can make, and we are honoured by the trust our families place in us. Since 2006, it has been our privilege to walk alongside children and their whānau, celebrating milestones, building confidence, and fostering a lifelong love of learning.
We currently have spaces available and would love to welcome new families into our Koru whānau.

As a special thank you, the first 5 new enrolments will receive a $500 credit towards their fees.*

Thank you for your ongoing support, kindness, and for helping our Koru community continue to grow. It truly means the world to us.

Ngā mihi nui,
The Koru Montessori Team 💚

Our tamariki from Koru have been busy preparing something special for our wonderful Koru mommies this Mother’s Day. 💕

Thank you for all the love, care, support, patience, and sacrifices you give to your tamariki every single day. Your kindness and dedication mean so much, and we are so grateful for everything you do.

We hope you all have a beautiful and love-filled Mother’s Day! 🌸

One of the quiet design choices in Montessori is something called the “control of error.” Many materials are built so the child can notice mistakes on their own, without an adult pointing them out. A piece doesn’t fit. A pattern doesn’t complete. Something feels off and invites another try.

It sounds small, but it changes everything.

Because instead of learning to wait for correction, the child learns to observe, reflect, and adjust independently. Over time, this builds something deeper than accuracy. It builds confidence in their own thinking. And it shifts the adult’s role, too.

Less correcting. More trusting the process. More stepping back so the learning can actually happen.

That’s the design.
