On 20th of May, we held an event with invited special guests and supporters to launch the first ever offering of the New Zealand Piano Tuners and Technicians qualification.
Held at St Matthews in the City we had a lovely evening.

Digital Music Production & Music Fundamentals – STAR 2026
Want to make beats, produce tracks, and learn music theory — all in one week? 🎧 This STAR programme with Let's Go Music & OMAC gets Year 12–13 students into Logic Pro and Ableton Live, building real production skills from the ground up. Ends with a listening showcase of your own music.

Amp'd Up26 – Live Band – STAR 2026
Get in a band. Rehearse hard. Play live. 🎸🥁🎤
Amp'd Up26 is a one-week STAR programme where Year 12–13 musicians are curated into ensembles and coached by professional musicians — covering stagecraft, rehearsal discipline, and performance skills. The week closes with a real live showcase.
Achievement Standards available (Levels 2–3).

Last week we interviewed the first ever applicants for the NZ certificate of Piano Tuning Technology (Level 4). The panel included two members of the NZ Piano Tuner & Technicians Guild. We were impressed by the capability of the applicants and are excited to start delivering this programme in July.

First intake of NZ Certificate of Piano Tuning Technology (Level 4)
Today, April 4th is International Piano Tuning Day, and this is a perfect time to announce that we will soon be open for enrolment for the NZ Certificate in Piano Tuning Technology.
We are the first and only provider of this training in New Zealand, and we are excited to bring this to you in partnership with the New Zealand Piano Tuner Technicians Guild. Exciting times ahead.
