🫧✨ FUN FRIDAY BUBBLE PLAY ✨🫧
What a bubbly way to end our week! Our tamariki had an absolute blast exploring, pouring, mixing, and creating mountains of bubbles during our Fun Friday activity. 🌈
Through hands-on play, our tamariki experimented with pouring water, watching bubbles grow, and discovering how different movements created different bubble effects. There were lots of smiles, laughter, curiosity, and teamwork as they worked together to create bubbly masterpieces!
Thank you for another fantastic week of learning and exploration. We hope everyone has a wonderful weekend with their whānau. 💙

Hari Rāmere whānau,
We are sad to farewell our beautiful Nia who is moving to Australia with her anau. Nia has been with us since February and we have seen her blossom into an independent, perceptive and inquisitive learner. We will miss your dazzling smile, your sweet nature and your positive outlook on life.
To Mata and Kaufana, meitaki maata and malo 'aupito for spoiling our children with a delicious lunch. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of Nia's early learning journey, it has been a privilege and blessing. We wish you all the best on this exciting new chapter. This morning, our tamariki enjoyed a game of backyard cricket using our foam cricket set🏏 taking turns, sharing sports equipment, and cheering on their friends.
There were some big hits, fast bowling that went straight through middle stump, and even a few LBW Our game encouraged teamwork, and strengthened relationships.
While waiting for their turn or just taking a break from fielding😁 some of our tamariki enjoyed helping Kaiako Tia set up a tray of cloud dough. They explored different textures, colours, and their sense of smell through hands on play.
Tamariki shared their thoughts, ideas, and experiences through conversations with their friends and kaiako.
Todays interactions supported language development, social connections, and opportunities for collaborative learning as they played and had fun and explored together.
Enjoy your evening whānau🙌

🍽️👩🍳LEALOFISA INSPIRES CURIOSITY🍽️👩🍳
Our beautiful Lealofisa has been showing a growing interest in our whānau area, and what better way to connect this interest with one of her favourite activities which is outdoor play.
Today, we captured a special moment as Lealofisa busily engaged in our outdoor kitchen area, carefully cooking, cleaning, and taking on various responsibilities through her imaginative play. Noticing her dedication and concentration, Lise approached her and asked, “What are you doing?” Lealofisa responded with a big smile and happily continued with her play.
It was wonderful to observe how meaningful play experiences can inspire curiosity in others. Lealofisa’s enthusiasm, confidence, and sense of purpose created an inviting space that encouraged interaction and sparked interest from those around her.
Moments like these remind us of the power of play as tamariki explore the world around them, build relationships, and develop a strong sense of belonging within our learning environment.

Highlights from the past two days in the Baby Room :🌟🌟🌟
Our babies have been busy exploring, creating, and having fun together! They enjoyed playing with magnets, discovering how the pieces connect and come apart while developing their problem-solving skills.
There was lots of excitement as the children chased and popped bubbles, filling the outdoor area with laughter and joy.
The babies also expressed their creativity through drawing, making marks and experimenting with different colours and patterns.
During playdough experiences, they squeezed, rolled, pinched, and moulded the dough, strengthening their fine motor skills and imagination.
Block play was another favourite activity. The children worked hard to build tall towers, showing determination and resilience as they rebuilt them again and again when they toppled over.

Today our Big KIDS had an adventurous day kicking things off with a transition visit to our friendly neighbours at Glenbrae School. After our visit and a healthy kai it was time for big KIDS club where we focused on letter recognition and learning our Centre pepeha.
