Come along and see what learning in action looks like at RI! Our AKO:CELEBRATION OF LEARNING Showcase is on Thursday 25 June from 3:30pm-7:00pm.

Our ākonga have been putting in the mahi to create incredible STEMART displays that showcase their learning and creativity! If you can't make it on the night, the displays will also be open on Friday 26 June & Monday 29 June, 1:00pm–4:00pm.

We look forward to welcoming our whānau to celebrate the awesome learning happening across our kura!

Taster Day 2026

What an awesome day welcoming our Year 6 ākonga from our contributing primary schools! 🙌

Working alongside our Year 7 students, they took part in hands-on learning activities with our kaiako and enjoyed fantastic performances from our Kapa Haka and Fusion Tribe groups.

We loved sharing what makes our kura special and can't wait to see some familiar faces back at Rangeview next year!

END OF WEEK 7 WRAP UP 🙌

What a fantastic way to finish the week! 🇼🇸 Thank you to our Cultural Council for hosting a wonderful Vaiaso o le Gagana Samoa Assembly, filled with learning, celebration and cultural pride. A special S/O to Lumana'i Group for their beautiful Siva. Congratulations to all of our o tamaiti a'oga who received a RISE Certificate too. Fa'afetai i o tatou tamaiti a'oga mo le fa'amanatuina o le Vaiaso o le Gagana Samoa!

Waiatarua took out the top spot for Week 7 🙌 Keep showing those RISE values and leading the way, Whānau!

🇼🇸 Vaiaso o le Gagana Samoa 🇼🇸

This week, our Cultural Council proudly hosted a range of activities to celebrate and honour Vaiaso o le Gagana Samoa. Students enjoyed taking part in a Curriculum Quiz, creating beautiful Sei (Samoan flower), playing Lape, participating in a drum session with Tuts and finishing the week with delicious panikeke fundraiser on Friday.

Celebrating language weeks provides valuable opportunities for us to learn about, appreciate and honour the diverse culture, language and traditions in our school community.

A huge thank you to our Cultural Council for their leadership throughout the week and to everyone who got involved in the celebrations.
