🌈 The Adventurers and Creators had an amazing time at Seussical the Musical at Mahurangi College!

⭐ Our tamariki were captivated from start to finish, enjoying the colourful characters and magical storytelling.

🍃 We even had an unexpected evacuation halfway through, but made the most of it by sharing three boxes of crackers before heading back in to enjoy the rest of the show!

🌈🐠 Rainbow Fish Fun ! 🐠🌈

Our tamariki explored the wonderful story of The Rainbow Fish through a creative and hands-on sensory experience. Using pipettes, colourful water, and cotton wool scales, the children carefully added colour to their fish while developing their fine motor skills, concentration, and creativity.

This engaging activity sparked conversations about kindness, sharing, and friendship ✨ the important messages woven throughout The Rainbow Fish story. It was wonderful to see our tamariki experimenting, creating, and learning together 🤍

🐠 World Ocean Day in the Creators 🐙🪸

Today our Creators celebrated World Ocean Day with a range of fun, hands-on ocean-inspired experiences!

Our tamariki explored sensory play filled with sea creatures, discovering more about the amazing animals that live beneath the waves. They also used their creativity and imagination to design their own unique fish, inspiring storytelling, language development, and artistic expression.

It was a wonderful day of learning, exploration, and appreciation for the beautiful oceans and the creatures that call them home.
