Pyjama Day at Learning Stars Preschool was such a fun and cozy milestone for all our children

We have had an absolutely wonderful week honoring Vaiaso o le Gagana Samoa (Samoan Language Week) at Learning Stars Preschool! 🇼🇸
​Our Preschool came alive with the vibrant culture of Samoa as our tamariki immersed themselves in hands-on learning experiences. Throughout the week, our tamariki enjoyed:
Learning traditional Samoan songs and dances ​🎶
Listening to beautiful cultural storytelling ​📖
Creating inspired arts and crafts​🎨
Practicing foundational vocabulary and everyday phrases ​💬

​Embracing diversity and multiculturalism is at the heart of our curriculum. It was incredibly special to see our tamariki engaged so enthusiastically with these rich traditions, fostering inclusivity and connection.

​A huge Fa'afetai tele lava (thank you very much) to our amazing kaiako/teachers, tamariki/children, and parents/whānau who contributed to making this such a memorable week of learning and celebration! 💙

We had a wonderful visit from our local librarians, Allison and Amanda! 📚✨ The children had an amazing time diving into stories, singing songs, and interacting with our fantastic guests. And definitely getting a sticker from them was a great hit Indeed. It brought a beautiful smile on everyone's face.
