Slow it down this month with your baby by attending our Jazz Inspired Music Sensory classes, a beautiful way to connect and grow.
We have extended our hours for Music Sensory. Now on Monday and Tuesdays at 10am at Gribblehirst Community Hub. Book your spot on our website to secure your space. First time? Enjoy 50% off your first session.
Some weeks feel really full, and others feel slow and sweet…
and most of the time it’s a mix of both 💛
One thing I’ve really come to notice through our sensory music sessions here in Morningside is just how much the simple things matter.
Sitting with your baby.
Singing the same song again.
Watching them slowly start to recognise it.
It doesn’t feel like much in the moment, but over time those little pockets of consistency begin building something really important, memory, early language, and that sense of feeling safe and settled.
I see it each week, babies beginning to light up at certain songs, settling into the space a little quicker, responding in their own way.
It’s never about doing more or getting things perfect.
Just being there, and letting those moments slowly build over time.
If music is something you’ve been wanting to bring more of into your home, this is your little reminder that it can be really simple 🌱

Feeling very grateful to be featured in The Natural Parent Magazine 🤍
Their beautiful approach to ethical and natural parenting aligns so closely with why I create music for families. Making music approachable, playful, and child-led for everyone!
In today’s “About Me” feature, I shared a little about my journey and the heart behind my music offerings, which are all about connection, creativity, and encouraging little ones to explore freely through music ✨
So thankful for this opportunity and for all the families who continue to support what I do 🤍
Music has been part of my life for as long as I can remember 💛
I grew up in a home where music was just part of everyday life. Singing together, instruments around the house, learning violin alongside my siblings from a really young age.
At the time, I didn’t realise how much those moments were shaping me. Not just musically, but emotionally too.
Looking back now, I can see that music became a place of comfort, expression, confidence, and connection throughout every stage of life.
It’s one of the reasons I feel so passionate about bringing music into family spaces now, especially in those early years.
Not because I believe every child needs to become a musician, but because music supports something so much deeper. The way children learn, regulate, connect, communicate, and understand the world around them.
Sometimes it’s easy to think of music as an “extra”, but I truly believe it becomes part of the foundation children build from.
And the beautiful thing is, it doesn’t have to be complicated.
A song while you’re changing nappies.
A familiar tune before sleep.
A little rhythm game in the kitchen.
Joining our music sensory classes.
These are the things children carry with them.
I’m so excited to now be sharing this work more deeply within the community through The Natural Parenting family 🌱

What a beautiful month it’s been 💛
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who’s joined our Tuesday sensory sessions so far. It’s been so special to share these moments with you and your little ones.
Did you know that from as early as 2 months old, babies are already building vital neural connections? Music and sensory play help nurture language, memory, coordination, and emotional development in those early stages, all while creating meaningful connection.
These sessions are more than just a class, they’re a chance to slow down, bond, and be present with your pēpi in a warm, welcoming space. Whether you’re a parent, caregiver, or grandparent, you’re invited to come along and experience the magic of music and sensory together.
We’d love to see some new faces join us next Tuesday ✨
Come along, connect, and watch your little one thrive.
