🎶 Big Sing Regionals 2026 🎶
What an incredible day at the NZCF Big Sing Regional Festival in Tauranga on Thursday!
For the first time in Hamilton Girls’ High School history, we were proud to have three choirs representing our kura on the regional stage, including two newly established groups. It is wonderful to see choral singing flourishing at HGHS.
A huge congratulations to Mana Wāhine (our all-comers choir), Ngā Korokoro Tūī (our newly formed auditioned chamber choir), and Note-orious (our auditioned pop choir) on their fabulous performances. Our students represented the school with pride, professionalism, and outstanding musicianship throughout the day.
We also loved celebrating alongside the other 26 choirs, enjoying the incredible talent from across the region and supporting each ensemble as they took to the stage.
Our sincere thanks go to the dedicated staff, tutors, whānau, and supporters who make these opportunities possible. We are immensely grateful for the team behind the scenes who help our young women flourish, grow in confidence, and share their passion for music with others.
Ka mau te wehi, wāhine mā! 💚🎵
