The Indian School Al Wadi Al Kabir was formally founded in 1941 as a Gujarati Medium School for the children of the members of the business community. It began to take its present shape in 1987 as Indian School Muttrah, with English as the medium of instruction and in September 1993 was renamed Indian School Al Wadi Al Kabir when it moved into the new premises in Wadi Kabir, Muscat

🏆 Congratulations to Team Axion! 🤖
A huge achievement by Ira Yadav[IGCSE YEAR 2] and Arsh Kakkar[IGCSE YEAR 1], who emerged as Champions at the WRO Oman National Competition 2026 – RoboMission Junior Category.
Guided by Atharv Yadav (ISWKi[Cambridge] Alumnus, Class of 2024) and competing with LEGO Spike Prime using Pybricks (Python), the team showcased exceptional teamwork, innovation, and problem-solving skills.
🌍 As National Champions of Oman, Team Axion has qualified to represent the Sultanate of Oman at the World Robot Olympiad International Final 2026 in Puerto Rico.
