This year’s ABA Oman International School Yearbook was a huge success and our very first interactive edition! 🎉📘
Students enjoyed exploring fun activities throughout the yearbook, including the “Find Vinnie” mascot challenge, interactive games, and a special sticker sheet that allowed them to design and personalize their own cover. Giving students the choice and voice to make their yearbook uniquely their own sparked incredible creativity and excitement.
We loved seeing the imaginative designs and hearing how much students enjoyed this new experience. A keepsake full of memories, creativity, and ABA spirit! 💙✨

Grade 10 students of ABA Oman International School took part in Work Experience (WEX) placements across a wide range of organisations spanning education, healthcare, engineering, finance, law, hospitality, media, and the creative industries. Key placements included leading institutions such as Bank Muscat, Oman Investment Authority, Shell Development Oman LLC, Siemens Energy, and Sultan Qaboos University, as well as hospitals, clinics, schools, law firms, corporates, hotels, media houses, and creative studios across Oman.
These experiences provided students with authentic exposure to professional environments, enabling them to observe workplace practices firsthand, engage with real-world tasks, and gain valuable insight into a range of career pathways. From medicine and earth sciences to business, law, engineering, sports, and the arts, students were able to connect classroom learning with life beyond school meaningfully.
A sincere thank you to all organizations, mentors, staff, parents, and community partners who generously supported and guided our students throughout this enriching and impactful experience.

On Monday 8th June, our Grade 8 students came together to celebrate the end of their Middle School journey at the annual Leavers Breakfast. 🎉
A huge thank you to COMO for the delicious breakfast spread, and to our Parent Support Group for transforming the venue with beautiful decorations that made the morning extra special.
Students enjoyed a fun awards-style game organised by Mr. Downey, with one student from each advisory group receiving a signed class photograph as a keepsake of their Grade 8 memories. The celebration ended with friendship group photos and a special “Graduating from Middle School” cupcake for every student. 🧁
Thank you to COMO, Ms. V, Mr. Downey, and our amazing parent volunteers for making this such a memorable celebration for our Grade 8 students as they prepare for their next chapter! 💙

Celebrating two wonderful individuals who have been the very bedrock of the ABA community for more than three decades. As we approach the close of the academic year, we bid a heartfelt and bittersweet farewell to Ms. Sherry Tomas, our Finance Officer of 27 years, and Mr. Anwar Moosa, our Public Relations Director of 37 years, as they step into a truly well-earned retirement. We extend our deepest gratitude to Anwar and Sherry for their remarkable dedication and service.
Sherry and Anwar have been part of ABA’s living history and the steady heartbeat of our school. Through decades of unwavering commitment, professionalism, and quiet kindness, they have helped shape ABA into the thriving, caring community it is today. Their contributions are not only seen in the growth of the school, but felt in the values, culture, and spirit that define us.
On behalf of the entire ABA community, we offer our deepest thanks. You leave behind an extraordinary legacy. You will be profoundly missed, always remembered, and forever cherished as you begin this next chapter filled with rest, joy, and happiness.

Our students gave them a standing ovation 👏 and surprised them with personalized, handmade cards filled with the most heartfelt thank-yous. There wasn’t a dry eye in the room! 🥹
