The country is at a crossroads, and the youth cannot afford to be spectators.
‎
‎Being young has never been an excuse for being uninformed, and it should not start being one now. Political noise grows louder, information becomes harder to verify, and the line between truth and convenience is increasingly blurred. In the middle of all this, one question confronts every young Filipino: 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗽𝗮𝘆 𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗼𝗿 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘆?

‎This publication chooses to pay attention.
‎
‎The press in the Philippines has never had an easy role. Today, that role has become even more demanding. Journalists across the country continue to report despite hostility, legal pressure, and public skepticism. They do so not for recognition, but because 𝗮𝗻 𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗱 𝗽𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝘃𝘂𝗹𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗼𝗻𝗲. Their commitment deserves to be called what it is: a public service carried out under extraordinary circumstances.

‎𝗙𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗼𝗺 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗲𝘅𝗶𝘀𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀. It exists for the benefit of every citizen who relies on accurate information to make sense of the world around them. When that freedom is threatened, it is not journalists alone who suffer. It is everyone.

‎We likewise direct these words to those entrusted with authority. Public office is not a platform for self-preservation. 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗽𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝘆 𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱, 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝘀𝘀𝘂𝗲𝗱, 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲. We call on our leaders, institutions, and law enforcers to govern with transparency and to place the welfare of the Filipino people above all other considerations.

Ang San Roque National High School – Antipolo City ay muling magbubukas ng pintuan para sa BRIGADA ESKWELA 2026 na may temang “Nagkakaisa Para sa Kaayusan at Kaalaman!”sa ika 1-5 ng Hunyo, 2026.
Sa tulong ng mga G**o, Magulang, SPTA Officers, Pamahalaang Lungsod, Barangay Officials, Alumni, at iba pang katuwang sa komunidad, sama-sama nating isinusulong ang kalinisan, kaayusan, at kaalaman para sa mas ligtas at mas maayos na kapaligiran ng ating paaralan.
Kasama rin ang Brigada Pagbasa bilang mahalagang bahagi ng ating programa upang higit pang palakasin ang kultura ng pagbabasa at pagkatuto ng mga kabataan.
