A father’s love is often shown in the things he does rather than the words he says. He works quietly, solves problems, provides, and makes sure everything is taken care of, even when no one notices.
Much like crafting a pair of leather slippers, fatherhood is a process. It takes patience, time, and steady hands. Each cut, pound, and detail matters. Not because the goal is perfection, but because what is being made carries meaning.
And in this process, we see the footsteps they set for us. Footsteps that lead with love. Footsteps that guide the way. Footsteps that leave lasting memories.
Today, we honor every father for the love, guidance, and support they provide as they help their children take each step in life.

Eight Years Great! 🎉 Happy Birthday, Hefty Minds!
8 years ago, Hefty Minds was born from a dream and a clear goal, to help children learn how to read and write through a program I personally created with purpose and heart.
This later grew into tutorials, then playgroup classes. We were supposed to launch our preschool program on our second year, but the pandemic happened. We shifted to online learning, focusing on tutorials for our Ateneo and Assumption Antipolo students and teaching beginning reading online. Then, just last year, we finally returned onsite. We continued with our delayed plan and finally opened our preschool program, all in His perfect time.

Since then, Hefty Minds has become more than a learning space. It has grown into a second home for children to discover who they are, and a community where families feel seen, supported, and valued.
As we look back with gratitude, what excites us even more is knowing that there are still families and little ones we have yet to meet, connections yet to be formed, and so much more waiting ahead.
And so, to celebrate 8 meaningful years and to honor where it all began, we are giving back in a special way:

Have you tried making tie-dye shirts? 🧡
Our little ones did not just design their shirts, they went through the whole process themselves. They hung them on the clothesline, clipped them, took them down, and folded them.
To top it all off, everyone enjoyed a sweet ice cream party with friends while wearing their very own tie-dye shirts. Learning, creating, and celebrating together just the way childhood should be! ☀️
