Mahigit isang siglo na ang lumipas mula nang iwagayway ang 𝘸𝘢𝘵𝘢𝘸𝘢𝘵 𝘯𝘨 𝘬𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘺𝘢𝘢𝘯, ngunit nananatiling buhay sa kasaysayan ng ating bansa ang diwa ng katapangan, sakripisyo, at pagmamahal sa bayan na ipinamana ng ating mga bayani.

Ngayong 𝐀𝐫𝐚𝐰 𝐧𝐠 𝐊𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐚𝐧, ating binibigyang-pugay ang mga bayaning nag-alay ng kanilang buhay upang makamtan ang kalayaang ating tinatamasa ngayon.

Ngunit sa paglipas ng panahon, mapapaisip tayo—

Tunay nga bang tayo ay malaya na?
Tunay bang may pagmamahal pang natitira para sa bayan?
Tunay bang buhay pa sa puso ng bawat Pilipino ang pagiging makabayan?
Nasaan ang mga naninindigan para sa katotohanan?
Nasaan ang mga naglilingkod nang walang pag-iimbot?

Wala.
Wala na.
O baka… unti-unti na lamang itong nakakalimutan.

Ngunit hindi pa huli ang lahat.

Hindi natatapos ang laban sa pagkamit ng kalayaan. Ito ay nagpapatuloy sa bawat Pilipinong pinipiling 𝒎𝒂𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒅𝒊𝒈𝒂𝒏 para sa tama, 𝒎𝒂𝒈𝒌𝒂𝒊𝒔𝒂 sa panahon ng pagsubok, at 𝒎𝒂𝒈𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒌𝒐𝒅 nang may tunay na pagmamahal sa bayan.
