UNSTOPPABLE CENTRALIAN SPIRIT
Centralians bag various awards in NCM 2025

Participants of Ramon Torres Ma-ao Sugar Central National High School (RTMSCNHS) sparked pride after reaping awards from various categories during the celebration of the 33rd National Children's Month (NCM) at Manuel Y. Torres Memorial Coliseum and Cultural Center (MYTMCCC) on December 2, 2025.

The Centralians showcased commendable performances which earned well-deserved titles and gave honor to the school.

On the list was the Centralian Dance Group bagging the Champion for the Hip-Hop Dance Showdown. This was a grand slam win for the Centralians.

Under the guidance of Eugie Mar Entera, Centralian Dance Group Adviser, the troupe exhibited a powerful show and brought heat to the dancefloor.

The talented dancers were Maria Creziel Alampayan, Kc Araneta, Shaira Davao, Aira Loraine Guansing, Kai Adriyelle Montias, Princess Ester Kathleen Ornillo, Angel Praise Padasas, Khera Pagunsan, Ana Permalan and Princess Ester Kathleen Ornillo.

Another success was also claimed by Jarrieth Peroy, finishing 2nd Place in the Vocal Solo competition.

With the help of her mentor, Mydah Samson, Peroy was able to deliver her choosen song with passion and purpose.

The school also secured the 3rd Place in the Digital Film Making contest with its documentary film entry "Karga-Kargang Pangarap".

Behind the award were Johannah Mariel Baroy, Ysabella Jane Esmeralda, Keiah Shanelle Labaro, Felix Adrian Mellizo, Anne Louise Narciso and Yaniessiah Lien Vasquez, who worked together for the production of a documentary that features the burdens of child labor.

Joyllene Kate Dioso also excelled in representing the school in the Extemporaneous Speech, and she was trained by Meryl Ortega.

This year's NCM theme: "Online Sexual Abuse and Exploitation of Children at Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation Materials (OSAEC–CSAEM) WAKASAN: Kaligtasan at Karapatan ng mga Bata, Ipaglaban!" the celebration was centered on fighting and prioritizing the rights of every child.

BOT FOR BRONZE
Centralian bet defends spot in robotics competition

Jyrho Gabriel T. Dayot of Ramon Torres Ma-ao Sugar Central National High School (RTMSCNHS) once again clinched the 3rd place in the Mission Challenge - Secondary Level category by displaying programming skills during the Central District Robotics Competition 2025 on September 19-20 at Silay City.

Other Centralian participants also proudly represented the school, namely Felix Adrian Mellizo for the Sumobot who made it to the top 10, Xyviel Shanee Andrada and Hyacinth Hope Soberano for the Line Tracing, and Hans John Christian Jovenes for the Mission Challenge.

Dayot was coached by Eugene E. Diano, and the team was accompanied by Rizza Lavadia, Head Teacher I in Science, Mia Arturo and Elize Kay Zapanta.

The competition does not only challenge the best minds, but served as a platform
where students can explore and integrate technology in their daily lives.

Dayot is expected to carry the battle into a higher level in the Provincial Robotics Competition 2025.

Centralians showcase talents in cheerdance tilt, 10 Titans' grip remains

Performers from Grade 7-12 highlighted another level of skills in the Cheerdance Competition as part of the Intramurals 2025 on September 18 at the school's covered court.

The competition was divided into two performances comprised of the yell and the festival dance by each grade-level.

Echoes of pride and colors of culture set the arena into life, bursting with creativity and diverse skills.

Among the 12 fierce contenders who were eager to win, Grade 10 - Titans rose above its foes again and secured its back to back championship title.

The giants roared with spirit and coordination in their cheers, and demonstrated artistry as they performed the dance of Sinulog Festival in Kabankalan City.

While the 1st Place was given to Grade 12 - Warriors for presenting Kansilay Festival of Silay City, and the 2nd Place to Grade 11 - Pink Panthers with its production of Tinabuay Festival in the Municipality of Murcia.

Other festival dances were also displayed, including Masskara Festival from Bacolod City by the Grade 7 - Green Vipers, Pintaflores Festival in San Carlos City by the Grade 8 - Yellow Olympians, and Dinagsa Festival of Cadiz City by the Grade 9 - Fiery Phoenix.

Winners were determined with the combination of points from its cheer and dance performance.

The competition was not only a celebration of talents, but an opportunity for every Centralian to explore and try new things.
