Sa diwa ng pagkakaisa at bayanihan, sama-sama nating ihanda ang ating paaralan upang maging ligtas, malinis, at handa para sa panibagong taong panuruan. Ang inyong oras, lakas, talento, at suporta ay malaking tulong para sa ikabubuti ng ating mga mag-aaral.

Based on the 2026 guidelines from the Department of Education (DepEd), the ARAL Summer Program (Academic Recovery and Accessible Learning) provides intensive remedial instruction to address learners’ gaps in Reading and Mathematics.

1. Program Basics and Target Learners

What is the ARAL Summer Program?
It is a 20-day targeted tutorial program designed to help struggling learners achieve grade-level proficiency in Reading and Mathematics.

Who are the target learners for Summer 2026?

Reading:
* Incoming Grades 2–4 (Emerging Levels)
* Incoming Grades 5–11 (Frustration Level)

Mathematics:
*Incoming Grades 2–4 at Not Proficient and Low Proficient levels

When will the program be implemented?
**May 6 to June 2, 2026**

2. Implementation and Structure

How long is the program?
The program runs for 20 days of structured intervention.

What is the class schedule?
Sessions are conducted Monday to Friday, with:
Fridays designated for home-based learning for learners

**How many hours are allotted per learning area each day?**
Each learning area is allocated 2 hours per day.

To ensure no learner is left behind, the Schools Division of Bago City, under the leadership of Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Neri Anne M. Alibuyog, officially announces the implementation of the 2026 Summer Remediation Programs starting this May.

Aligned with the Academic Recovery and Accessible Learning (ARAL) Program under Republic Act No. 12028, these intensive remediation sessions will run from May 6 to June 2, 2026.

This national learning recovery effort, supported by dedicated volunteer teachers, aims to ensure all students are adequately prepared for the succeeding grade level.
