Student athletes from the University of Baguio Cardinals team strike and climb to the top of the ranks during the 66th Palarong Pambansa events and games, held on May 24 to 31, 2026.

Garnering an impressive roll throughout the competitions in Prosperidad, Agusan del Sur, with 27 sporting disciplines varying in complexity and skill mastery, each participating athlete gave a performance that was worthy of discipline, determination, and spirit! 🚀🎇

The University of Baguio cheers proudly as it welcomes the new line of professional Certified Public Accountants (CPAs) from the recent May 2026 Certified Public Accountants Licensure Examination (CPALE)! ✨

Regulated and conducted by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and held within official testing centers in NCR, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga. The licensure exam grants passers the legal authority to use the title Certified Public Accountant, engage in public practice, and assume roles in auditing, finance, taxation, and management across various industries. 🎉

Additionally, the CPA credential is globally recognized, increasing employment prospects both domestically and overseas. From May to November of 2026, the third (3rd) batch of student delegates, along with their accompanying faculty representative, Ms. Joan Florague, deploy from the School of International Hospitality and Tourism Management (SIHTM) and set forth to gain valuable and broader perspectives in real-world experience through proven techniques and practices, along with the world-class culture and professional environments and cultural immersion set forth in Hong Kong.
