𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗴𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 🌉

On March 26, 2026, the Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers – SLU Student Chapter held the Bridge Making Competition, showcasing the creativity, precision, and engineering ingenuity of its members.

Each entry was carefully designed and constructed to demonstrate structural stability, efficiency, and innovation—reflecting core principles of civil engineering in practice. The outputs were evaluated by Engr. Dan Barretto, whose expertise provided valuable insight in assessing the technical excellence of each design.

Beyond competition, the activity served as a platform for learning, collaboration, and growth among aspiring civil engineers—where every bridge built represented not just a structure, but a step toward mastery of the profession.

On November 16, 2025, the Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers – SLU Student Chapter proudly conducted “PICE of Clans: AKWE 2025”, one of the most anticipated and memorable events of the academic year.

The event served as a celebration of unity, teamwork, leadership, and camaraderie as members from different clans came together to participate in various activities and challenges. Through every competition, shared experience, and moment of collaboration, the event strengthened the bond within the organization and highlighted the spirit of fellowship among future civil engineers.

More than a showcase of skills and teamwork, AKWE 2025 reflected the passion, dedication, and sense of community that continue to define PICE SLU-SC.

Together as one, stronger than ever.

The Saint Louis University (SLU) School of Advanced Studies (SAS), Baguio City, is proposing the opening of a Master of Science in Civil Engineering (MSCE) Program, a 33-unit master's degree program focused on sustainable, practice-based, academic research and development in the field of Civil Engineering.

Aligned with SLU’s vision, mission, goals, and core values, the proposed MSCE Program aims to enhance the competencies and professional expertise of graduates of Civil Engineering and related fields, preparing them for leadership roles in academia, industry, and research. The program seeks to develop professionals who can make meaningful contributions to the advancement of the Civil Engineering profession and address emerging challenges in a rapidly evolving environment.

As part of the program development process, we are conducting a survey to gather valuable insights and feedback from stakeholders. Your participation and responses will greatly contribute to assessing the relevance and potential impact of the proposed program.
