Pines City National High School is participating in the upcoming National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED). Our school believes that safety and preparedness are just as important as our daily academic lessons. Earthquakes happen without any warning, but practicing what to do beforehand helps us build muscle memory, reduce panic, and stay safe during real emergencies. When the alarm sounds, immediately execute the 𝐃𝐮𝐜𝐤, 𝐂𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐝 protocol by dropping to the floor, protecting your head and neck under a sturdy desk or with your school bag, and holding on tightly until the shaking stops.

Once the drill begins, please remain calm, do not rush, and avoid pushing your classmates. Follow your teacher's instructions carefully as you exit the classrooms in an orderly line toward your designated open evacuation areas. Disaster readiness is a shared responsibility, so let us take this simulation seriously and look out for one another. Let’s all work together to keep our school campus safe, alert, and resilient—be ready, Pinesians! 🌲⛑️🦺

Today, our aspiring Grade 7 Representatives gathered for a special meeting and screening session to take their first steps into student governance. Stepping up to lead right at the beginning of high school takes immense courage, and we are incredibly inspired by the passion, potential, and fresh ideas shown by these young aspirants as they prepare to champion the voices of their batchmates.

In line with our mission to empower and uplift the student body, the SSLG is thrilled to witness such dedication from our youngest peers. We wish all the applicants the best of luck as they undergo the candidacy process, and we extend our deepest kudos to everyone taking this brave step to serve the Pinesian community. Hindi man kalakihan ang maibigay, ang mahalaga ay ang pusong handang tumulong. Sa bawat donasyon, may batang mabibigyan ng inspirasyon at pagkakataong mangarap.

Sama-sama nating iparamdam na walang mag-aaral na maiiwan.

The PCNHS SSLG is now seeking dedicated and capable individuals to serve for the upcoming school year 2026 to 2027. To qualify, candidates must demonstrate

1. Good Moral Character (with no records of major or minor offenses)
2. No failing grades
3. Leadership Capabilities
