The UP Sigma Beta Sorority - Baguio Chapter joins the celebration of International Women's Day in honoring the dignity, strength, and contributions of women from all walks of life.

As a sisterhood grounded in truth, honesty, and justice, we celebrate women who lead with integrity, compassion, and grace. But as we uplift women’s achievements, we must also confront the realities that threaten their dignity—such as the misuse of AI tools like Grok AI to manipulate and “undress” women’s photos without consent.

Such acts are violations of privacy, consent, and bodily autonomy. A woman’s body, likeness, and image belong to her alone. Respect for women must extend not only to the physical spaces they occupy, but also to the digital spaces where their identities are increasingly vulnerable.

As Sigma Betans, we remain committed to fostering a community rooted in excellence, integrity, and compassion, where women uplift one another and stand firm in dignity.
