IN PHOTOS | The Management Economics Society held its sixth general assembly on May 8, 2026. The agenda included general and departmental updates, the upcoming events, the introduction of the electoral board, and nominations for the Small Council for A.Y. 2026-2027.

𝐊𝐀𝐃𝐖𝐀 𝐍𝐆𝐀 𝐓𝐔𝐌𝐔𝐋𝐎𝐍𝐆 𝟓.𝟎 – 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐚 𝐬𝐚 𝐦𝐠𝐚 𝐓𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐞𝐫

Sa gitna ng mataas na presyo ng langis, mga pangunahing bilihin, at araw-araw na gastusin, lalong bumibigat ang kalagayan ng ating mga tsuper. Habang patuloy silang bumibiyahe upang mapanatili ang galaw ng komunidad, kapalit naman nito ang pagod, kakarampot na kita, at matinding pangambang hindi sapat ang maiuuwi sa kanilang pamilya.

Sila ang mga manggagawang nasa kalsada mula umaga hanggang gabi, nagdadala sa atin sa paaralan, trabaho, at tahanan, ngunit sa panahon ng krisis, sila rin ang isa sa mga sektor na pinakamatinding naaapektuhan. Sa kabila ng kanilang mahalagang papel sa lipunan, nananatiling kulang ang konkretong suporta para sa kanilang kabuhayan at karapatan.

Sa diwa ng kolektibong pagkilos at pakikiisa sa masa, muling inilulunsad ng Campus Alliance for Dedicated and Unified Action (CADUA) ang 𝐊𝐀𝐃𝐖𝐀 𝐍𝐆𝐀 𝐓𝐔𝐌𝐔𝐋𝐎𝐍𝐆 𝟓.𝟎 – 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐚 𝐬𝐚 𝐦𝐠𝐚 𝐓𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐞𝐫. Layunin ng programang ito na makalikom ng tulong at suporta para sa ating mga jeepney drivers na patuloy na lumalaban sa gitna ng krisis pangkabuhayan.

𝐀𝐧𝐠 𝐛𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐭 𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐢𝐭 𝐧𝐚 𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐚𝐠 𝐚𝐲 𝐡𝐚𝐤𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐮𝐧𝐠𝐨 𝐬𝐚 𝐩𝐚𝐠𝐩𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐭𝐚 𝐧𝐚 𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐢 𝐧𝐚𝐠-𝐢𝐢𝐬𝐚 𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐠𝐚 𝐭𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐞𝐫 𝐬𝐚 𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐧 𝐧𝐚 𝐢𝐭𝐨.

Kaagapay ng CADUA sa inisyatibong ito ang 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐄𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐜𝐬 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐲, na nagsagawa ng isang income-generating program upang makatulong sa pagpopondo ng aktibidad at mas mapalawak pa ang maaabot na tulong para sa ating mga tsuper. Sa pamamagitan ng sama-samang pagkilos ng mga organisasyon at estudyante, pinapatunayan nating may lakas ang kolektibong pagkakaisa sa panahon ng pangangailangan.

Nanawagan kami sa mga estudyante, kabataan, organisasyon, at bawat indibidwal na may kakayahang tumulong na makiisa sa adbokasiyang ito. Sa panahon ng krisis, ang tunay na malasakit ay nasusukat sa ating kakayahang tumindig kasama ng mamamayan.

IN PHOTOS | Transparency Report and Turnover from Fundraiser

The Management Economics Society shares the final results of its recent fundraiser held from April 28 to 30. Through the overwhelming support of the UPB community at the Cafeteria, a total of PHP 5,000 has been successfully turned over to Campus Alliance for Dedicated and Unified Action (CADUA). This contribution will directly support CADUA’s ongoing initiatives for local jeepney drivers amid rising fuel costs and continuing economic challenges.

The Management Economics Society wraps up the recent fundraiser with immense gratitude to everyone who dropped by the UPB Cafeteria. Our hearts and cups are full! More than just a refreshment, every drink sold represents our shared commitment to standing with our transport sector amidst rising costs. A portion of our proceeds is now headed to CADUA to support their initiatives for our local jeepney drivers. 💙💛

Habang patuloy nating tinatahak ang daang pasulong, nananatili ang komitment ng 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗘𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘆 na maging bahagi ng positibong pagbabago sa ating komunidad. Bahagi ng kikitain mula sa aming IGP ay ilalaan upang suportahan ang kanilang programa. Sa ating pagkakaisa, layon nating palakasin ang boses ng mga estudyante at maghatid ng makabuluhang tulong kung saan ito pinaka-kailangan.
