Through the program, Baguio City will open an innovation competition inviting youth to submit climate project proposals. Selected ideas will receive $𝟏,𝟎𝟎𝟎 𝘁𝗼 $𝟓,𝟎𝟎𝟎 𝗺𝗶𝗰𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀 and technical assistance, with city staff supporting implementation from start to finish.

The Fund, which has tripled in reach since its 2024 launch, has already shown strong results globally. Among youth participants, trust in local government rose from 61% to 83%, while confidence in their ability to address environmental challenges climbed from 65% to 90%. To date, over 300,000 young people across five continents have helped create 1,600+ green spaces, plant 235,000 trees, and collect over 405,000 pounds of recyclables.
