Considered to be the UP Math-Physics Societyโ€™s biggest event of the year, the Annual Math-Physics Interschool Quiz Show (AMPIQS) was first staged in 1989.

From Baguio-wide, the competition has been recently launched into a Luzonwide event in celebration of its Silver Anniversary last 2014. With the goal of extending the event into the national level, AMPIQS will welcome various participants from the various regions of Luzon.
