BACOMM students brought retro glam, creativity, and excellence to life during the AJAC Awards 2026. 🤍🏆✨

Making the celebration even more memorable was the successful staging of the first-ever Brunch Theater, written by Reowen Fuentes and directed by Sir Clay Marquez, “Closure You and I – Episode 1: The Eks-tensyon,” starring the very own talented Communication students. 🫶

From remarkable achievements to outstanding performances, the night became a true reflection of the passion and artistry of every COMM student. 👏

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐚𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐮𝐥, 𝐢𝐬𝐧’𝐭 𝐢𝐭?

Beneath the glow of the moon and the melodies of 𝐋𝐮𝐧𝐚 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐚, the juniors and graduating seniors of Westmead International School gathered last May 8, 2026, for a meaningful Turn Over Ceremony celebrating not only the transition of leadership, but also the passing of memories, experiences, and legacies from graduating seniors to the next generation of students.

The night became a reminder that while endings are inevitable, the impact we leave behind continues to shine through the people who carry our stories forward. In celebration of the 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡, Political Science and Public Administration students successfully hosted a meaningful seminar with the theme: “𝘚𝘵𝘳𝘰𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘳 𝘊𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘶𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘦𝘴: 𝘐𝘯𝘤𝘭𝘶𝘴𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘎𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘯𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦, 𝘈𝘸𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘗𝘳𝘰𝘵𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯.”

On April 21, 2026, the event gathered active participation from CAS students and opened with inspiring remarks from Dr. Antonio Maligaya, Dean of Student Affairs.

The seminar featured insights from two distinguished guest speakers, Ms. Andrea Hernandez and Mr. Richard Limsiaco. Ms. Hernandez highlighted the importance of gender equality and public service, encouraging students to become advocates of inclusivity. Meanwhile, Mr. Limsiaco discussed governance in drug protection and awareness, emphasizing the role of communities in ensuring safety and accountability.

The program also included an engaging demonstration on safety, rights, and self-defense, equipping students with practical knowledge and awareness.

Overall, the event concluded on a high note, leaving participants empowered, informed, and inspired, with renewed hope for good governance and stronger communities.

Westmead International School held the Builders’ Forum: “Inspiring Leadership, Igniting Volunteerism, Empowering Community Development” on March 27, 2026.

The program started with the opening remarks from the Department Assistant Dean, Dr. Debbie L. Lualhati, followed by an inspirational message from the Dean of the School of Economics and Business Accountancy, Dr. Marites D. Manlongat. The ceremony proceeded with the giving of the first insignia to the second year to fourth year students of Customs Administration.

The event concluded with another inspirational message from the Dean of Student Affairs, Sir Antonio Maligaya and a closing remarks from the President of Philippine Society of Customs Administration Students WIS Chapter, Rachelle S. Refran, leaving everyone with wide smiles as the program ended successfully.

As part of the 19th Founding Anniversary of Westmead International School, the annual Research Forum was successfully held yesterday, December 12, featuring research presenters from different college departments. With research enthusiasts serving as judges, the Best Presenter award was earned by the College of Arts and Sciences, while the Best Research Paper was awarded to the representative from the School of Economics, Business, and Accountancy.

An inspiring celebration of knowledge, innovation, and academic excellence. 💙
