Sa paggunita natin sa temang "𝘒𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘺𝘢𝘢𝘯, 𝘒𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘣𝘶𝘬𝘢𝘴𝘢𝘯, 𝘒𝘢𝘴𝘢𝘺𝘴𝘢𝘺𝘢𝘯," binibigyang-pugay ng Batangas State University, The National Engineering University ang katapangan at sakripisyo ng mga Pilipinong nagtaguyod ng ating kasarinlan, na humantong sa makasaysayang pagproklama ng kalayaan ng bansa noong Hunyo 12, 1898 matapos ang mahigit tatlong siglo ng kolonyal na pamamahala.

Ang kalayaang ating tinatamasa ngayon ay bunga ng isang makulay at makabuluhang kasaysayan, isang pamana na patuloy nating pinagyayaman sa pamamagitan ng kaalaman, inobasyon, at paglilingkod sa bayan.

Building a stronger talent pipeline for industry.

Batangas State University proudly celebrates the recognition of SYLAX, an innovative mobility-assistance device for children with cerebral palsy developed by students of the BatStateU Integrated School, during the presentation of award-winning robotics projects before President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.

Marked by a strong spirit of unity and sportsmanship, Batangas State University, The National Engineering University (BatStateU The NEU), officially opened the President’s Cup Season 10 under the theme, “One BatStateU: Building Stronger Bonds Through Sports and Active Living.”

Now on its 10th season, the President’s Cup continues to serve as one of the University’s key platforms for fostering camaraderie, discipline, teamwork, and school pride among faculty and staff, alumni, and stakeholders across the Red Spartan community.

The opening ceremony gathered delegates from the University’s five constituent campuses—Pablo Borbon, Alangilan, Lipa, ARASOF-Nasugbu, and JPLPC-Malvar—along with the Central Administration, BatStateU alumni, and the Parents-Teachers Association, highlighting the University’s culture of inclusivity and shared pride as each delegation marched with enthusiasm during the entrance of teams.

This year’s President’s Cup features a series of athletic competitions including basketball, volleyball, badminton, and table tennis. The games will run from May 28 to June 22, 2026, and will be held at BatStateU Alangilan, serving as a platform to showcase athletic talent, teamwork, and sportsmanship among members of the BatStateU community.

In his message, University President Dr. Tirso A. Ronquillo underscored that the President’s Cup is more than a sporting event—it is a celebration of unity and a reflection of the University’s core values. He reminded all participants to “play with integrity,” emphasizing honor, respect, and sportsmanship as guiding principles both on and off the field.

Adding vibrance to the program was the Presentation of Muses, where each delegation proudly introduced its representative. Ms. Kimberly Hornilla of BatStateU Alangilan earned recognition for her exemplary poise and representation.

The event's most anticipated moment came as Dr. Ronquillo formally declared the opening of President’s Cup Season 10, officially signaling the start of another season dedicated to athletic excellence, teamwork, and institutional pride. He also led the ceremonial toss, symbolizing unity, friendship, and the enduring spirit that binds the community as One BatStateU.

The President’s Cup Season 10 highlights the University’s commitment to active living and community building, strengthening connections and fostering a deeper sense of belonging through sports.
