𝑴𝒂𝒚 16, 2026| 2𝒏𝒅 𝒀𝒆𝒂𝒓 𝒂𝒏𝒅 3𝒓𝒅 𝒀𝒆𝒂𝒓 𝒔𝒕𝒖𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒔 𝒇𝒓𝒐𝒎 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑩𝑺 𝑬𝒏𝒗𝒊𝒓𝒐𝒏𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒂𝒍 𝑺𝒄𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒈𝒓𝒂𝒎 𝒄𝒐𝒏𝒅𝒖𝒄𝒕𝒆𝒅 𝒂 𝒇𝒊𝒆𝒍𝒅 𝒂𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝒂𝒕 𝑩𝒖𝒖𝒈 𝑵𝒂𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒂𝒍 𝑩𝒊𝒐𝒕𝒊𝒄 𝑨𝒓𝒆𝒂 (𝑩𝒖𝑵𝑩𝑨).

The 𝟑𝐫𝐝 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 in their subject 𝗘𝗡𝗩𝟬𝟯𝟳 conducted an experiential visit to provide them the firsthand learning experience related to biodiversity, wildlife conservation, and ecosystem management. Through direct observation and participation in field activities, students were able to appreciate the importance of conserving flora and fauna and understand the ecological relationships present within natural ecosystems. They were tasked to:
• Observe and identify various plant and wildlife species in their natural habitat.
• Understand the importance of biodiversity conservation and ecosystem protection.
• Apply proper field techniques in wildlife observation and environmental assessment.

Meanwhile, the 𝟐𝐧𝐝 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 as part of their Field Exposure Activity in 𝐄𝐍𝐕𝟎𝟐𝟑: 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐓𝐚𝐱𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐦𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐍𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 , were tasked to conduct a Plant Species Inventory and Taxonomic Documentation, identifying the scientific name, family name, common name, plant habits and the morphological characteristics of different species of plants in the area.

The students also learned about the history and ecological importance of the Buug Natural Biotic Area.
