Mindanao State University–Zamboanga Sibugay headed by Chancellor Prof. Sheila G.Magolama, PhD, proudly takes part in strengthening its role as an active consortium member institution of Western Mindanao Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources Research and Development Consortium (WESMAARRDEC) through the signing of the Constitution and By-Laws and the presentation of the WESMAARRDEC Roadmap by its Consortium Director, Dr.Leonilo B.Abella.
This endeavor aims to pave the way for stronger collaboration, innovation, and sustainable development in Western Mindanao.

The Research Center for Language Teaching and Learning, under the leadership of Assoc Prof. Dr. Mark Bedoya Ulla, held an online meeting on 7 May 2026 to discuss a forthcoming international research collaboration project with partner universities in the Philippines. Representatives from Caraga State University, Mindanao State University – Zamboanga Sibugay Campus, and Father Saturnino Urios University participated in the meeting.

The virtual gathering served as an initial platform for strengthening academic partnerships and exploring collaborative research opportunities in language education.
