With immense pride and heartfelt admiration, we extend our warmest congratulations to the MSU-Zamboanga Sibugay (formerly MSU-Buug) Cheer Dance Team for achieving First Runner-Up in the Inter-High School Cheer Dance Competition held in celebration of the 66th Araw ng Buug and 15th Bog Festival.
Composed of talented dancers from both our Junior High School and Senior High School, the team delivered a performance that was a beautiful expression of teamwork, sacrifice, discipline, and shared passion. Every lift, formation, and smile reflected the unity and determination that define MSU-ZS students.

MSU-Zamboanga Sibugay (formerly MSU-Buug) and its extension campuses join the observance of the beginning of the Holy Month of Ramadhan, hence, February 18, 2026, Wendesday, is hereby declared as a University Holiday, subject to the official declaration following the moonsighting (niyatah) on the evening of February 17, 2026.
This announcement was made in order to provide our muslim students, faculty members and staff with enough time to prepare for the holy month of fasting, and most especially, give them the opportunity to spend quality time with their loved ones in this time of reflection and spiritual renewal.
Moreover, please be informed that February 17, 2026, Tuesday, is likewise a holiday in national observance of the Chinese New Year.
Offices rendering essential services and those who have scheduled activities on the aforementioned dates may continue their operations, subject to the decision of their office heads.

MSUBuug participates in the District Festival of Talents organized by the Department of Education-Buug District on February 2, 2026, held at Buug Central SPED Center.
This DFOT aims to develop learners in 21st century skills, including creativity, collaboration, critical thinking, and communication, and strengthen cultural awareness and appreciation through creative outputs and performances.
