Who brought home the gold?

None other than the MSU-ZS, we the Science educator society of MSU-ZS are immensely proud of Shirley Tubalado and Daphne Peña for being part of the Military Silent Drill during the Araw ng Zamboanga Sibugay celebration held in Alicia last February 16, 2026.

Their triumph holds many sacrifices–enduring intense training, giving up their hair, staying up late, balancing academic, and practicing under the heat of the sun for countless hours. In the end of the day all those hardships are paid off for you are titled as Champions and your dedication has brought pride and honor to our community.

Congratulations ka-siyensiya, your courage, discipline and preserverance inspired us all!

We also successfully launched our 1st SciQuest activity, where we brought together the Junior High School students from Buug to compete, explore, and celebrate their passion for science.

SES DAY (ZUMBA) P1

SES Day was all about energy, learning, and purpose!
With all the students of SES, we started the day with an invigorating Zumba session followed by engaging activities designed for the Junior High School students. From frog dissection, chemistry demonstrations, microscope observations, to animal observations, and ended the day where all sciences showed their different talents from dancing, singing to acting—full of unexpected talents from the people we know . We shared knowledge through experiential learning that made science come alive.
