The activity provided incoming and continuing students with essential information on university services, academic policies, student development programs, and campus life to help them prepare for a productive and meaningful school year.

Ready, Set, Teach: SHS Faculty Members Gear Up for AY 2026-2027

The Senior High School Department of Mindanao State University–Buug Campus successfully conducted the SHS Teachers’ Orientation 2026 on June 9, 2026, at Sultan Hall. The activity gathered SHS faculty members to prepare for the opening of classes and the implementation of the strengthened curriculum for Academic Year 2026–2027.

The program featured messages from university officials, including Chancellor, Prof. Sheila G. Magolama, Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, Assoc. Prof. Ivy F. Amante, and Dean, Assoc. Prof. Aldin Paul S. Genovia. Discussions focused on the strengthened SHS curriculum, academic calendar, learning delivery, faculty responsibilities, and updated classroom and grading policies.

Led by Principal, Asst. Prof. Mark Anthony A. Dalumpines, the orientation provided a venue for faculty members to clarify concerns, align expectations, and strengthen their commitment to delivering quality education in the coming school year.

Division Validation for the Application/Renewal of the SHS Permit for the SSHS Curriculum

The Division Validation for the Application and Renewal of the Senior High School (SHS) Permit in the Offering for the implementation of the Strengthened SHS Curriculum was successfully conducted today.

Present during the validation were the validation team from the Schools Division of Zamboanga Sibugay led by the EPS/SHS Focal Person, Ms. Lhorelle Caballida, together with the Campus Chancellor, Prof. Sheila G. Magolama, and the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs (VCAA), Assoc. Prof. Ivy F. Amante.

This activity reflects the institution’s continuous commitment to academic excellence, quality assurance, and the strengthening of Senior High School education for the benefit of learners and the community.

To all incoming Grade 11 students who wish to be admitted in Mindanao State University-Zamboanga Sibugay Senior High School Department, please be informed that the admission for the first semester A.Y. 2026-2027 will begin today, May 18, 2026.

The following are the admission requirements:
1. Grade 10 Report Card (Original)
2. PSA Birth Certificate (4 Copies)
3. 2x2 ID Picture (4 pcs)
4. Certificate of Completion (Copy)
5. SHSEE Rating (Passing score for admission is 88)
6. Certificate of Good Moral Character
7. NCAE Result (If available)
8. Long Brown Expanded Envelope
