The LG COMEA is pleased to announce the official result of the Special Runoff Election for the Grade 7 Representative of the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG).

Following a closely contested initial election that resulted in a tie, the Special Runoff Election was successfully conducted in accordance with LG COMEA Resolution No. 1, s. 2026, ensuring a fair, transparent, and democratic electoral process.

Congratulations to IZHI JALYN A. CHAVEZon being duly elected as the Grade 7 SSLG Representative for School Year 2026–2027!

A spirited tune-up match unfolds at MNHS Grounds as Mambuaya National High School faces Bulua National High School on June 20, 2026. Led by national football player Coach Julie Popovich, both teams showcase discipline, teamwork, and sportsmanship in a competitive yet friendly encounter.

Mambuaya FC Rapids continues to enhance their skills, building strength, coordination, and game awareness as they prepare for upcoming competitions.

With heartfelt gratitude, the team extends sincere appreciation to Coach Julie Popovich for her invaluable guidance, expertise, and unwavering support in developing young athletes.

MNHS successfully participated in the 2nd Quarter National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED), reinforcing its commitment to safety and disaster preparedness.

Learners, teachers, and personnel actively practiced the “Duck, Cover, and Hold” procedure and proper evacuation measures to ensure readiness in times of emergency. The activity was spearheaded by the SDRRM Coordinator, Mr. Arvic Obemio with the school administration.

This initiative is anchored on Republic Act No. 10121 (Philippine Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Act of 2010) and aligns with the directives of the NDRRMC and DepEd on regular earthquake drills in schools.

MNHS continues to uphold a culture of preparedness, safety, and resilience. 💯

As part of its commitment to promoting digital safety and responsible online behavior, selected parents from MNHS participated in the Swipe Safe Training of Trainers for Parents and Caregivers held on June 19, 2026, at VIP Hotel, CDOC.

Organized by the Xavier Science Foundation in partnership with ChildFund and KKKK, the training introduced participants to the Swipe Safe App, a digital education tool designed to help young people, parents, and educators navigate the online world safely, avoid scams, and protect themselves from cyberbullying and online grooming.

Representing MNHS were Joan Dañas, Jhoan Ampo, Rosielen Masinegra, Rene Caballero, Liezel Gutierrez, Juliet Araneta, Liezl Quinompot, Jeanjimita Pamat, and Sheryl Gaburno. Their participation strengthens the school’s efforts to promote digital literacy, online safety, and child protection within the school community.
