HAKBANG: Pondering in stepping forward or backward?

As the new school year draws near, an unfamiliar environment, new set of faces and routine welcomes the aspiring Batch 9 Andrew L. Gotianun Sr. Center for Integrated Technology (ALGCIT) Scholars!

On May 18, Project hakbang took place in ALGCIT AVR as it serves as an avenue to guide the incoming Grade 11 students of ALGCIT on whether to continue their journey in the Intersession Enrichment Program (IEP) or to take a step back from the opportunities presented in front of them. The incoming Grade 12 students of ALGCIT, spearheaded by the ALGCIT Council, prepared fun and engaging activities for the juniors to enjoy and be more comfortable in the same space. From “launch your expectations” where their paper planes soared high in the air to reach the hands of another person, passing the pulse wherein a small ball landed in the hands of where the music stops, to the open forum session where the incoming Grade 12 students shared their experiences as an ALGCIT student.

The program concluded with mixed emotions filling the four corners of the room. Excitement, discernment, and confusion land in their minds as they make their way back into the dormitory.

Hakbang pasulong, o hakbang paurong?
