The successful conduct of the 𝙍𝙊𝙏𝘾 𝘼𝙣𝙣𝙪𝙖𝙡 𝘼𝙙𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙏𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙡 𝙄𝙣𝙨𝙥𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 (𝙍𝘼𝘼𝙏𝙄) 2026 highlighted the vital role of ROTC cadets as future leaders and defenders of the nation, exemplifying 𝙙𝙚𝙙𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣, 𝙙𝙞𝙨𝙘𝙞𝙥𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙚, 𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙜𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙮, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙞𝙘𝙚. The presentation demonstrated how the coordinated efforts of these agencies contribute to 𝙢𝙞𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙨𝙪𝙘𝙘𝙚𝙨𝙨, 𝙥𝙪𝙗𝙡𝙞𝙘 𝙨𝙖𝙛𝙚𝙩𝙮, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙚𝙛𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙧𝙜𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙮 𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙥𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙚 𝙤𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨. A significant highlight was the utilization of the 𝘽𝙚𝙮𝙤𝙣𝙙 𝙏𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙡 𝙍𝙚𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙞𝙨𝙩 𝙈𝙤𝙗𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙯𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙈𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙜𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙄𝙣𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙎𝙮𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙢 (𝘽𝙏𝙍𝙈𝙈𝙄𝙎), an innovative platform developed under the guidance and leadership of the 𝙂𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙥 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙧, 10𝙩𝙝 𝙍𝙚𝙜𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝘿𝙚𝙛𝙚𝙣𝙨𝙚 𝙂𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙥, 𝙍𝙚𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙚 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙖𝙣𝙙, 𝙋𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙥𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝘼𝙧𝙢𝙮, designed to enhance reservist mobilization through streamlined processes, improved coordination, and real-time access to critical operational information. The ROTC Annual Administrative Tactical Inspection 2026 serves as a comprehensive evaluation mechanism that assesses operational readiness, administrative efficiency, and tactical proficiency across key areas such as personnel management, logistics, records maintenance, regulatory compliance, training effectiveness, discipline, leadership, and overall mission preparedness.

Through this rigorous assessment, the inspection reinforces accountability, identifies strengths and areas for improvement, and promotes continuous enhancement to ensure alignment with established military standards and strategic objectives. RAATI 2026 was led by 𝗖𝗢𝗟 𝗥𝗘𝗬 𝗣 𝗣𝗔𝗦𝗖𝗢 𝗚𝗦𝗖 (𝗜𝗡𝗙) 𝗣𝗔, 𝘼𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙩 𝘿𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙧 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙍𝙚𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙞𝙨𝙩 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙍𝙚𝙩𝙞𝙧𝙚𝙚 𝘼𝙛𝙛𝙖𝙞𝙧𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 4𝙩𝙝 𝙄𝙣𝙛𝙖𝙣𝙩𝙧𝙮 (𝘿𝙞𝙖𝙢𝙤𝙣𝙙) 𝘿𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣, 𝙋𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙥𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝘼𝙧𝙢𝙮, who served as the RAATI 2026 Chairman, together with inspectors and evaluators from the division and in the presence of the 𝙂𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙥 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙧, 𝘾𝘿𝘾 𝘿𝙞𝙧𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙤𝙧, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙤𝙛𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝙤𝙛 10𝙍𝘾𝘿𝙂, 𝙍𝙀𝙎𝘾𝙊𝙈, 𝙋𝘼, reflecting the command’s unwavering commitment to excellence, operational readiness, and the development of competent, disciplined, and mission-capable ROTC cadets and reservists who will contribute significantly to nation-building and national security.

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒 | 𝗔𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗲𝘀𝘁, 𝗪𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗱. 𝗨𝗦𝗧𝗣 𝗥𝗢𝗧𝗖𝗨 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝟯𝗿𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗔𝗔𝗧𝗜 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

𝗖𝗔𝗚𝗔𝗬𝗔𝗡 𝗗𝗘 𝗢𝗥𝗢 𝗖𝗜𝗧𝗬 — Demonstrating exceptional discipline, preparedness, and unity of effort, the 𝗨𝗦𝗧𝗣 𝗥𝗢𝗧𝗖 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁, alongside its affiliated 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗮 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘀 and annexes in 𝗩𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗲𝘃𝗮 and 𝗕𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗯𝗮𝗹, underwent the 𝐑𝐀𝐀𝐓𝐈 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 on 23 May 2026. The inspection showcased the unit's unwavering dedication to military excellence, organizational effectiveness, and its enduring commitment to developing competent and service-oriented citizen-soldiers.

The program opened with a solemn invocation led by 𝗖𝗽𝗹 𝗘𝗮𝗿𝗹 𝗠 𝗗𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮 𝗣𝗔 (𝗥𝗲𝘀) and 𝗖𝗗𝗧 𝟮𝗟𝗧 𝗣𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗖𝗘 𝗛𝗔𝗦𝗦𝗔𝗡 𝗟 𝗔𝗕𝗨𝗕𝗔𝗖𝗔𝗥 (𝟯𝗖𝗟), setting a tone of discipline and purpose. This was followed by the welcome address of 𝐌𝐀𝐉 𝐁𝐀𝐋𝐓𝐀𝐙𝐀𝐑 𝐂 𝐌𝐀𝐂𝐀𝐑𝐀𝐄𝐆 𝐏𝐀 (𝐑𝐄𝐒), who underscored the significance of RAATI as a benchmark of training effectiveness. The formal turnover of the unit to the 𝗥𝗔𝗔𝗧𝗜 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻 was presided over by 𝗟𝗧𝗖 𝐀𝐍𝐒𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐘 𝗨 𝐏𝐔𝐌𝐁𝐀𝐘𝐀 𝗜𝗡𝗙 (𝗚𝗦𝗖) 𝗣𝗔, 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗻𝘁 of 𝗨𝗦𝗧𝗣 𝗥𝗢𝗧𝗖𝗨.

In his remarks, RAATI Chairman 𝗖𝗢𝗟 𝗥𝗘𝗬 𝗣 𝗣𝗔𝗦𝗖𝗢 𝗚𝗦𝗖 (𝗜𝗡𝗙) 𝗣𝗔 formally introduced the inspection team, while 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗼𝗿 𝗔𝘁𝘁𝘆. 𝗗𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗲𝗹 𝗢. 𝗔𝗹𝗯𝗶𝗻𝗮 emphasized the core value of service in leadership, stating that “𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫-𝐢𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞,” reinforcing the institution’s commitment to molding servant-leaders through the ROTC program.

Field inspection activities commenced at the Parade Ground of the 4th Infantry Division, Patag, where cadets executed a ceremonial parade marked by precision, synchronized movement, and command presence. The inspection of ranks followed, with cadets maintaining composure and bearing under scrutiny—reflecting the results of sustained and rigorous training. Company drill were performed with calculated accuracy, while a raid/ambush demonstration showcased tactical awareness, coordination, and readiness for simulated combat scenarios.

Adding further realism and operational depth to the exercise, the USTP ROTC Unit joined forces with the 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐀𝐫𝐦𝐲'𝐬 𝐀𝐫𝐦𝐨𝐫, 𝐀𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐲, 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐎𝐫𝐝𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐚𝐥 (𝐄𝐎𝐃), 𝗞𝟵, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝟰𝐭𝐡 𝐂𝐚𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐫𝐲 (𝐊𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐧) 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐲 (𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞) in a dynamic combined-arms raid demonstration. The collaboration highlighted interoperability, tactical synchronization, and the effective integration of specialized military capabilities, showcasing the unit's commitment to excellence in military training and readiness.

The RAATI Team’s arrival at the USTP campus was met with full military honors, signaling respect and professionalism. A comprehensive Commandant’s briefing was delivered by 𝗟𝗧𝗖 𝐀𝐍𝐒𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐘 𝗨 𝐏𝐔𝐌𝐁𝐀𝐘𝐀 𝗜𝗡𝗙 (𝗚𝗦𝗖) 𝗣𝗔, with administrative coordination support led by 𝗧𝗦𝗴 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗕 𝗜𝗴𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗮 (𝗖𝗘) 𝗣𝗔, 𝗔𝗱𝗺𝗶𝗻 𝗡𝗖𝗢, ensuring the systematic flow and organization of inspection requirements. This was followed by a courtesy call with Chancellor 𝗔𝘁𝘁𝘆. 𝗗𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗲𝗹 𝗢. 𝗔𝗹𝗯𝗶𝗻𝗮, highlighting the strong collaboration between the academic institution and military training leadership.

The administrative and military stakes inspection rigorously evaluated the units’ core competencies. Cadets demonstrated proficiency in map reading and land navigation, assembly and disassembly of the M16 rifle, and first aid and basic life support-critical skills that underscore both tactical capability and humanitarian readiness. The inspection further assessed the effectiveness of the Commandant and training staff, ensuring that standards of instruction, discipline, and leadership development are consistently upheld.

RAATI, recognized as the Armed Forces’ primary mechanism for assessing ROTC unit readiness, served not only as an evaluation but as a reaffirmation of the units’ commitment to excellence. Each phase of the inspection reflected a culture of discipline, accountability, and continuous improvement.

From first formation to final honors, the USTP ROTC Units demonstrated that true leadership is forged through discipline, strengthened by unity, and sustained by an unyielding commitment to serve-setting the standard for excellence in ROTC training.

The 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐧 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬 (𝐔𝐒𝐓𝐏) 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘀’ 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗽𝘀 (𝗥𝗢𝗧𝗖), encompassing its Cagayan de Oro, Villanueva and Balubal campuses, successfully conducted its Joint Ceremony for Basic and Advance ROTC Cadets on 23 May 2026, commencing at 𝟭𝟯𝟬𝟬𝗛.

The ceremony formally opened with the Arrival of the Guest of Honor and Speaker (𝐆𝐎𝐇𝐀𝐒) 𝗖𝗢𝗟 𝗥𝗘𝗬 𝗣 𝗣𝗔𝗦𝗖𝗢 𝗜𝗡𝗙 (𝗚𝗦𝗖) 𝗣𝗔, Assistant Division Commander for Reservist and Retiree Affairs (𝗔𝗗𝗖-𝗥𝗥𝗔), 𝟰𝗜𝗗, 𝗣𝗔, followed by the Entrance of Colors, setting the tone of discipline and reverence.

In her Welcome Remarks, 𝗠𝘀. 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗛. 𝗛𝗼𝗱𝗴𝗲, 𝗡𝗦𝗧𝗣 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿, underscored the institution’s commitment to nation-building through ROTC training. The Presentation of Graduates was rendered by 𝗧𝗦𝗴 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗕 𝗜𝗴𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗮 (𝗖𝗘) 𝗣𝗔, 𝗧𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗡𝗖𝗢, followed by the Declaration of Graduates led by 𝗖𝗢𝗟 𝗕𝗘𝗥𝗡𝗔𝗥𝗗 𝗧 𝗥𝗔𝗚𝗨𝗦 𝗙𝗦 (𝗚𝗦𝗖) 𝗣𝗔, 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿, 𝟭𝟬𝗥𝗖𝗗𝗚.

A comprehensive Training Synopsis was presented through an Audio-Visual Presentation, highlighting the cadets’ rigorous preparation and development. The Distribution of Certificates and Awards was presided over by 𝗖𝗢𝗟 𝗥𝗘𝗬 𝗣 𝗣𝗔𝗦𝗖𝗢 𝗚𝗦𝗖 (𝗜𝗡𝗙) 𝗣𝗔, assisted by 𝗠𝘀. 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗛. 𝗛𝗼𝗱𝗴𝗲 and 𝗟𝗧𝗖 𝗔𝗡𝗦𝗛𝗔𝗥𝗬 𝗨 𝗣𝗨𝗠𝗕𝗔𝗬𝗔 𝗜𝗡𝗙 (𝗚𝗦𝗖) 𝗣𝗔, 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗻𝘁.

The Oath-Taking Ceremony for the School-Based Ready Reserve Unit (SBRRU) was administered by 𝗖𝗢𝗟 𝗥𝗘𝗬 𝗣 𝗣𝗔𝗦𝗖𝗢 𝗚𝗦𝗖 (𝗜𝗡𝗙) 𝗣𝗔, signifying the cadets’ formal commitment to serve the nation.

A significant highlight of the program was the Turn-Over Ceremony, which included the Reading of Relief and Designation Orders by 𝗧𝗦𝗴 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗕 𝗜𝗴𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗮 (𝗖𝗘) 𝗣𝗔, 𝗧𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗡𝗖𝗢, Remarks and Reading of the Relinquishment Order by 𝗖𝗗𝗧 𝗖𝗢𝗟 𝗖𝗥𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗢 𝗥𝗘𝗬 𝗣 𝗔𝗕𝗘𝗖𝗜𝗔 (𝟭𝗖𝗟), 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗽𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿, 𝗨𝗦𝗧𝗣 𝗥𝗢𝗧𝗖𝗨, and the Reading of Assumption Order and Remarks by 𝗖𝗗𝗧 𝗟𝗧𝗖 𝗖𝗔𝗥𝗟 𝗣𝗔𝗧𝗥𝗜𝗖𝗞 𝗤 𝗟𝗔𝗕𝗜𝗔𝗡𝗢 (𝟮𝗖𝗟), Incoming Acting Corps Commander, under the supervision of 𝗟𝗧𝗖 𝗔𝗡𝗦𝗛𝗔𝗥𝗬 𝗨 𝗣𝗨𝗠𝗕𝗔𝗬𝗔 𝗜𝗡𝗙 (𝗚𝗦𝗖) 𝗣𝗔. The ceremony culminated with the Turn-Over and Acceptance of Unit Colors, symbolizing the seamless transition of leadership.

In his Message, 𝗖𝗢𝗟 𝗥𝗘𝗬 𝗣 𝗣𝗔𝗦𝗖𝗢 𝗚𝗦𝗖 (𝗜𝗡𝗙) 𝗣𝗔 emphasized that "𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐢𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐚𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲, 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞” urging the graduates to embody the values of discipline, integrity, and patriotism in their future endeavors.

Tokens and Certificates of Appreciation were subsequently awarded to distinguished personnel and training staff, recognizing their invaluable contributions to the success of the program.

The ceremony concluded with the Mass Singing of “Awit Kawal” and “Pilipinas Kong Mahal,” fostering unity and national pride among the cadets, followed by the Exit of Colors and Recessional.

This momentous event marked not only the culmination of ROTC training but also the beginning of a greater responsibility-producing disciplined, service-oriented citizens ready to answer the call of duty in 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰.
