The cross reveals a love that goes beyond wordsโa love that chose sacrifice so we could receive grace. "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faithโand this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God" (Ephesians 2:8)
Jesus bore the weight of sin not because we deserved it, but because He loved us deeply and unconditionally. This love calls us to live by faith, to walk in humility, and to extend grace to others just as it was given to us. The cross is not just a memoryโit is a daily reminder that we are saved, changed, and called to live a life that reflects His love. ๐ฟ๐คฒ๐ป

Students from different programs gathered at the Pelaez Sports Center Gymnasium on March 16, 2026 for a successful Pickleball training conducted as part of the PATH-FIT requirement under the guidance of Sir Andrel Ken Caculba. The activity brought together students from BSHM, BSBA, BTVTED, SHS, and DHT Batch 2, who actively participated in learning the basics and techniques of the fast-growing sport.
The training was made more meaningful through the help of Coach Rhaiswon Fuentes Pickleball Basics with Coach Jun & Rhai together with three coaches, who patiently introduced the basic skills, rules, and proper gameplay of Pickleball. Through demonstrations and hands-on practice, students were able to understand the importance of coordination, teamwork, and discipline in the sport.
Under the supervision of PATH-FIT instructor Sir Andrel Caculba, the session not only focused on physical activity but also encouraged students to develop confidence, sportsmanship, and a deeper appreciation for recreational sports.
The Pickleball training served as an opportunity for students to gain new skills, valuable experience, and a stronger sense of camaraderie, making the event both educational and enjoyable for everyone involved.

On March 10, Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management (BSHM) students took part in an educational ocular tour at Seven Seas Waterpark and Resort. The activity was conducted under the subject Ergonomics and Facilities Planning for the Hospitality Industry led by their instructor, Ma'am Marnie Daculos.
The educational tour aimed to provide students with actual learning experiences outside the classroom. During the visit, the students observed how a well-known waterpark and resort manages its facilities, safety measures, space utilization, and guest services. These important aspects are part of hospitality management that students will apply in their future careers in the industry.
According to the tour guide, Sir Jun Razul Racmat, the experience is closely connected to the studentsโ course because it highlights the importance of communication skills and the ability to assist and serve people effectivelyโessential qualities in the hospitality field.
The BSHM students were also grateful for the support and assistance of Ma'am Chie and Ma'am Ann, who helped guide them throughout the activity.
Through this educational tour, the students gained valuable knowledge and insights into real-life hospitality operations. The experience allowed them to better understand how facilities are planned and managed while preparing them for future opportunities in the hospitality and tourism industry.

The BS Hospitality Management II students of Vineyard International Polytechnic College (VIPC) successfully conducted The Grand Hospitality Feast 2026 last Saturday at the VIPC 5th Floor Multipurpose Hall, marking a significant milestone in their academic and professional journey in the field of hospitality.
The event served as a platform for the students to demonstrate their knowledge, creativity, and teamwork in organizing a formal hospitality gathering. From the program flow to the elegant venue setup, the activity reflected the studentsโ commitment to excellence and their readiness to take on real-world hospitality responsibilities.
According to Sir Jonas Gamba, MBA, the feast was a remarkable achievement for the class as it was the first time the BSHM II students organized and conducted an event of this scale, making it both a valuable learning experience and a memorable moment for everyone involved.
Meanwhile, Sir Mark Hill Perater, MICE Instructor, explained that The Grand Hospitality Feast 2026 was conducted as the medium-scale event requirement for their MICE subject, allowing students to apply event management principles and hospitality service skills in a practical setting.
Indeed, The Grand Hospitality Feast 2026 stands as a proud milestone for the BSHM II studentsโan unforgettable step toward becoming the next generation of hospitality leaders.

February 25, 2026 marks the 40th anniversary of the EDSA People Power Revolution, a historic moment that reshaped the nation and restored democratic rule in 1986. This year, the day is observed as a special working day under Proclamation No. 1006, rather than a non-working holiday โ a decision that has sparked reflection and conversation across the country.
Four decades ago, countless Filipinos filled Epifanio de los Santos Avenue, united in their stand against dictatorship. In a remarkable display of faith, courage, and love for country, they showed the world that peaceful collective action could bring down authoritarian rule without shedding blood.
Today, commemorative activities, including wreath-laying ceremonies at the People Power Monument, honor the bravery of those who stood for freedom in 1986. These rites are not merely symbolic โ they are reminders of the sacrifices made to reclaim democracy.
However, as the anniversary is observed on a working day, it raises an important question: How do we remember EDSA in a time when its lessons are often debated, questioned, or forgotten?
History is not just about dates and declarations. It is about values โ accountability, unity, civic participation, and the defense of democratic institutions. Whether marked by a holiday or a working day, February 25 remains a powerful chapter in Philippine history.
As we commemorate EDSA at 40, may this not only be a remembrance of the past but also a call to action for the present. Democracy is not a one-time victory โ it is a responsibility carried by every generation.
