The onslaught of expectations drain the minds of all, and it is no less different for a man.

They hold the responsibilities, carry the pain quietly, expected to "man up" by society.

And when they disappear, we ask ourselves why they couldn't ask for help.

Today marks the start of Men's Mental Health Awareness Month, where we raise attention and break the stigma around emotional vulnerability, challenging the outdated, toxic notions of masculinity.

Let us use this month to check up on the men that helped discipline us. Perhaps ask how your father has been? Your brother? Those that are quietly suffocating in a world full of responsibilities and expectations.

A man's real strength isn't independence; it is the will to ask for help.

June is a month where we celebrate the diversity, strength, and resilience of the LGBTQIA+ community. It is a time to honor the individuals who continue to live truly despite challenges and discrimination, and to recognize their valuable contributions to society. Pride Month reminds us of the importance of creating spaces where everyone is respected, accepted, and empowered to be themselves.

As we celebrate the Pride Month, we also remember the history of the movement and the ongoing fight for equality, representation, and human rights. Pride is not only about visibility and celebration—it is also about advocating for a more inclusive and just society for all. Let us continue to stand in solidarity with the LGBTQIA+ community and work toward a future where everyone can live with dignity and freedom.
