If youโve walked past our Kids Church room lately, youโve probably heard a lot of cheering, laughing, and maybe a little bit of running around. We don't just include games to fill the time, we do it because fun is one of the best tools for faith!
Integrating structured play into our Sunday mornings does more than keep the kiddos smiling. Here is why games are a vital part of how we learn about God:
๐ The Big Advantages of Play-Based Activity:
โค๏ธ It Builds Immediate Connection:
Games break down walls. Shy kids open up, new friends are made instantly, and a strong sense of community is built before the lesson even begins.
๐ง It Locks In the Lesson:
Kids learn best by doing! Whether itโs a teamwork challenge that teaches unity or a memory-verse relay race, active games turn abstract concepts into tangible truth.
โก It Resets Their Focus:
Let's face it, sitting still is hard work! A high-energy game lets our little ones burn off their extra giggles so their hearts and minds are calm, focused, and ready when itโs time for the Bible story.
โช It Creates Positive Church Memories: We want children to associate Godโs house with absolute joy. When they grow up remembering that church was a place of laughter and love, it builds a lifelong foundation for their faith journey.

๐ What an incredible time we had at Kids Church last Sunday!
Our classroom was filled with so much energy, bright smiles, and hungry hearts as our amazing kiddos discovered a powerful truth: Jesus is our King! We learned that He isn't just any king, He is a King who rules with infinite love, kindness, and grace, and He cares deeply for each and every one of them.
Hereโs a glimpse of what our little believers up to:
๐ต Joyful Worship: Lifting up our voices (and hands!) to praise our King.
๐ Heart-to-Heart Lessons: Discovering what it means to live under His good and loving protection.
๐จ Creative Minds: Putting our faith into action with fun activities and learning together at the table.
Parents' Corner: This week, ask your kids what they learned about King Jesus! Letโs keep the conversation going at home and remind them daily of how much they are loved by the King of Kings.
See you all next Sunday for another beautiful day of faith, friendship, and fun! Live out His love this week! โค๏ธโจ

This past Sunday, our kids took a trip back in time to look at how Jesus spent His days. Our lesson was all about โJesus Reads and Teaches Godโs Word.โ
Even as a young man, Jesus loved the Scriptures, and He showed us how important it is to read and know Godโs truth!
Our Memory Verse of the Week:
โJesus read the Scriptures.โ โ Luke 4:16

Here is what we learned at Kids Church last Sunday! ๐ฃ๐
We dove into the story of young Jesus visiting the temple in Jerusalem. Our big takeaway? Jesus loves to be in His Fatherโs house!
He loved learning about God and being surrounded by scripture and we want our kids to feel that exact same excitement when they walk through our doors!
Keep the conversation going this week:
Read together: Psalm 122:1
Talk about it:
Why do you think Jesus loved being at the temple so much? How can we make our own home feel like "God's house" this week?
Pray together:
Thank God for giving us a church family where we can learn and grow together.
We are so blessed to partner with you in raising these world-changers! See you next week!

Yesterday at Kids Church, our little ones learned all about what it means to truly trust the Lord! Itโs not always easy to trust when we canโt see the big picture, but through worship, and Bible stories, our kiddos discovered that God always has the best plan for us.
