BEYOND THE TEXT:
STUDENTS’ FILM FESTIVAL AND AWARDS CEREMONY 2026

Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in English students of St. Clare College proudly showcased their creativity, passion, and storytelling excellence during the successful conduct of the Film Festival and Awards Ceremony held on May 23, 2026, at the EMA Theatre. Through film adaptations inspired by mythology and folklore, students brought literary narratives to life through meaningful performances, visual artistry, and collaborative production.

The event highlighted not only the artistic talents and technical skills of future educators, but also their ability to communicate culture, imagination, and human experiences through the power of cinema. From film screenings to the recognition of outstanding achievements, the celebration became a testament to the dedication, teamwork, and creativity of the Education Department.

Congratulations to all organizers, participants, filmmakers, performers, and awardees for the success of this meaningful event. Your hard work, passion, and commitment truly made this celebration memorable, inspiring, and a reflection of the excellence and unity of the Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in English community.

EDUCATION STUDENTS GUESTED ON LIFE SKILLS WEBINAR WITH DEAN HENRY S. TENEDERO

Angelica and Angela Romawak, popularly known as the Education Department’s super twins, together with beloved Education teacher Ms. Ria Estrada, were featured guests on the Life Skills Show, a live Facebook webinar hosted by Dean Henry Tenedero, Dean of Life Skills. The webinar, held last May 21, centered on the theme, “Retransforming Life Skills for Education Stakeholders.”

Both BEED students, Angelica and Angela shared their valuable experiences, perspectives, and journey as future educators. Their participation highlighted the importance of life skills in shaping responsible, resilient, and compassionate members of the educational community.

THROWBACK | PROJECT SIKAP:
SINING AT KAALAMAN PARA SA PAG-UNLAD
ARTS AND LITERACY FOR COMMUNITY EMPOWERMENT

Education students of St. Clare College continue to take part in our ongoing mission to promote community engagement and meaningful service in our partner communities from April 26- 20, 2026. This initiative is part of our long-term project, SIKAP (Sining at Kaalaman para sa pagunlad), which aims to strengthen social responsibility, compassion, and active citizenship among future educators.

Through simple acts of service and genuine connection, we hope to inspire positive change and remind everyone that teachers are not only educators inside the classroom, but also partners in building empowered communities.

LATE UPLOAD: MEETING WITH THE 4TH YEAR TERTIARY STUDENTS - 2026

The meeting for fourth-year tertiary students held May 9, 2026 at the SCC Gymnasium reiterated important matters regarding school rules, policies and regulations, UniFAST updates, graduation policies and guidelines, and academic requirements in preparation for the completion of the Academic Year 2025–2026.

The activity was headed by Dr. Clarita G. Adalem, President, together with the department heads and administrators: Dr. Marijoy S. Aquino for BSHM, Dr. Renilda Martinez for BSBA and BSTM, Dr. Jeaenthjoy Naturales for BSCS, Dr. Adrian Roque for Education, Dr. Janet I. Adalem, College Dean, Ms. Malen Zaoanta, OSAS Director, Atty. Joy Alarcon from the UniFAST Assistance Office, and Mr. Trammy Ortega, Assistant Director of COES.

As the students prepare to embark on a new chapter of their lives, the institution continues to uphold its commitment to excellence, leadership, and service—guiding every graduating Clarean toward a future filled with purpose, competence, and success. Let’s go, Saints!

BEYOND THE TEXT: Education Department Film Festival and Awards Ceremony 2026

Witness mythology and folklore come alive through powerful visuals and creative storytelling. This May 23, 2026 at the Ernesto M. Adalem Theater 9:00 am - 5:00 pm.

This is a creative film showcase that enlighten students to celebrate literature in a way that is creative, sparks curiosity, and invites everyone to discover and enjoy these stories.

This festival is presented and organized by the 2nd Year BSED English students, this competition reflects the passion, teamwork, and artistic vision of future educators who transformed literary themes into compelling visual art with modern storytelling.
