Pantuyan National High School actively participated in the 2nd Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) today, joining schools and institutions across the country in strengthening disaster preparedness and promoting a culture of safety.
Teachers, staff, and students successfully carried out the "Duck, Cover, and Hold" procedure and orderly evacuated to designated safe areas following the simulated earthquake scenario. The drill emphasized the importance of preparedness, presence of mind, and coordinated action during emergencies.

Physical well-being and demographic data were gathered through health assessments and screening conducted under the Brigada Learners Health Assessment, led by the School Nurse, Maโam Evangeline P. Hernaez, ensuring that studentsโ health conditions are properly recorded and monitored for appropriate support and intervention.
In parallel, the Guidance Office conducted RIASEC and HEADSS assessments to better understand studentsโ vocational interests, personality inclinations, and psychosocial well-being. An order lifting the suspension of classes at all levels, in both public and private schools within the Municipality of Caraga, Davao Oriental, effective June 8, 2026, at 10:30 PM.
In view of this issuance, regular face-to-face classes will resume tomorrow, June 9, 2026 (Tuesday). All learners are expected to attend their classes.
Although classess have resumed, everyone is strongly advised to remain vigilant and continue observing safety precautions, especially in light of possible aftershocks or related emergencies. Always follow established school safety and disaster preparedness protocols when necessary.
