Policy: Mandatory Bag IInspectio
Effective Date: June 23, 2026
Subject: Routine Bag Inspection for Campus Safety
​I. Rationale
​At Eston Heights Academy Inc., we are deeply committed to fostering a secure, nurturing, and productive learning environment. In alignment with our core values of excellence, community trust, and mutual respect, this policy is established to prevent the entry of prohibited items onto school grounds, ensuring the physical well-being and safety of all students, faculty, staff, and visitors.
​II. Scope
​This policy applies to all individuals entering the school premises. This includes, but is not limited to:
​Enrolled students
​Faculty and administrative staff
​Parents, guardians, and relatives
​Guests, contractors, and external vendors
​III. Guidelines and Procedures
​Inspection Points: Bag checking will be conducted daily by authorized security personnel at all designated campus entry points prior to passing through the main gate.
​Method of Inspection: Inspections will primarily be visual and physical. Individuals will be asked to open their backpacks, handbags, gym bags, or packages and present them to the security officer.
​Privacy and Dignity: Security personnel shall conduct all checks with the utmost respect and courtesy. To ensure privacy, physical contact with the contents of a bag will be minimized unless a prohibited item is suspected.
​Refusal of Inspection: Entry to the campus is conditional upon compliance with security checks. Anyone who refuses to have their bag inspected will be denied entry to the school premises. In the case of students, parents or guardians will be notified immediately.
​IV. Prohibited Items
​The following items are strictly forbidden on school property:
​Weapons: Fi****ms, knives, box cutters, replicas, or any sharp/bladed objects that could be used to inflict bodily harm.
​Illegal Substances: Illegal drugs
