Cardoso, Senior Vice President for Programs Development and Quality Assurance, served as a Special Guest and Speaker during the International Conference on Technological Intelligence and Business Strategies (TIBS) 2026 held at the Asian Institute of Management (AIM) Conference Center, Makati City, Manila, from June 22 to June 24, 2026.

𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗦 | 𝗦𝗖 𝗠𝗔𝗘𝗱 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗧𝘄𝗼-𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗢𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗖𝗛𝗘𝗗 𝗥𝗤𝗔𝗧 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴

The Master of Arts in Education (MAEd) program of Samar Colleges, Inc. (SC), with its five specializations in Educational Management, Elementary Education, Filipino, Communicative Language Learning, and Reading, advanced through a two-day onsite monitoring and evaluation conducted by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Regional Quality Assessment Team (RQAT) from June 17 to 18, 2026.

The evaluation assessed the program's compliance with CHED standards under CMO No. 15, s. 2019 and included a review of documents, facilities, learning resources, and program implementation. The RQAT also acknowledged the institution's continuing efforts to enhance its curriculum, facilities, and support services for graduate education.

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | Samar Colleges, Inc. welcomes the CHED Regional Quality Assessment Team (RQAT) composed of Dr. Maria Mylah Javier, Dr. Jennifer A. Gorumba, and Dr. Robert P. Jordan for the onsite monitoring and evaluation of its graduate programs from June 17 to 18, 2026.

The two-day activity involves document review and facility validation to ensure compliance with CHED policies, standards, and guidelines and to support the continuous improvement of graduate education.

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | As the 77th Commencement Exercises drew to a close, the graduates of the Class of 2026 took the Pledge of Loyalty, led by Ms. Kathleen Nicole L. Tan, Loyalty Awardee from the Graduate School, reaffirming their commitment to uphold the values and ideals of Samar Colleges.

Following the pledge, Ms. Manuelilda Rosario A. Torrevillas, Senior Vice President for Administration, formally inducted 699 graduates into the Samar Colleges Alumni Association, officially welcoming them into the institution's growing network of alumni.
