With compassion and unity, we call upon the CEIT community to extend support to one of our Tigers in need.
Gab Lejas, an Architecture student from the College of Engineering and Information Technology (CEIT), and his family are currently facing a difficult time following the passing of his mother, Meliza Peรฑaflor Alejo, four days ago after being confined in the hospital.
Despite her passing, Mrs. Alejo remains in the hospital due to unsettled medical expenses. Based on the hospital statement, the total amount payable has reached approximately โฑ1,115,604.83, placing a tremendous financial burden on the family. Due to their current financial situation, they are struggling to settle the remaining balance needed to bring their loved one home and give her the wake and final farewell she deserves.
In this challenging time, let us uphold the true CEIT spirit of bayanihan by extending our prayers, compassion, and generosity to Gab and his family. Any amount, no matter how small, can help ease their burden and provide support as they navigate this period of grief and loss.
