Today, we proudly commemorate the day our nation declared its freedom—a historic moment that symbolizes the courage, resilience, and unwavering spirit of the Filipino people. As we celebrate Philippine Independence Day, we honor the heroes who fought bravely and sacrificed greatly so that future generations could live in a free and sovereign nation.

Their struggle reminds us that freedom is not merely a privilege inherited from the past, but a responsibility that must be protected and cherished every day. It lives on in our choices, our actions, and our commitment to becoming better citizens for our country.

As Filipinos, let us take pride in our rich culture, diverse heritage, and the values that unite us despite our differences. May this day inspire us to uphold the ideals of patriotism, integrity, and service, while continuing to work together for a nation that is progressive, compassionate, and inclusive for all.

Let us remember our history, celebrate our identity, and look forward to a future built on unity, hope, and love for our motherland.

This June 6 marks the annual Leadership Training for the newly elected officers for this school year 2026-2027! Leaders from different grade levels, clubs, and organizations come together to explore what it means to uphold leadership, authority, communication, and decision-making in their roles. This seminar was made incredibly meaningful and impactful thanks to our amazing speakers, 𝐌𝐬. 𝐌𝐢𝐞𝐫𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐲𝐧 𝐈. 𝐁𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐚𝐧 and 𝐒𝐫. 𝐇𝐚𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐝𝐞 𝐥𝐨𝐬 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐬 𝐎𝐍𝐃. Their wisdom, insights, and hands-on activities truly helped students understand the responsibilities, dedication, and journey required to become good leaders who serve others with respect and integrity.

As this momentous event comes to an end, student leaders walk home with minds enlightened and hearts aspiring to do their best. Ready to journey on another school year filled with purpose, passion, and a commitment to serve.

Congratulations to 𝑺𝒉𝒊𝒏 𝑴𝒊𝒈𝒖𝒆𝒍 𝑩𝒂𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒏 for being elected as the new Grade 7 Representative for School Year 2026–2027. The Supreme Secondary Learner Government proudly welcomes you and looks forward to serving alongside you. 🎉👏

This successful election was made possible through the leadership and assistance of the LG COMEA, ensuring a fair, orderly, and credible electoral process.

Here is the afternoon portion of our Opening Day celebration! Kicking things off was the opening of our booths, organized by our SSLG Officers.

Welcome to the Acquaintance Party! This special afternoon program was designed by our SSLG Officers to give students a chance to have fun and socialize. They set up five amazing booths: the Encounter Booth, Perya Booth, Photobooth, Dedication Booth, and Students' Cinema Booth. On top of that, they added a Token Shop, a "Request a Song" station, and a Craft Area where students could showcase their artistic skills and win exciting prizes!

As the day slowly came to an end, so did our program. But of course, we could never close an event without recognizing the incredible individuals behind it—the minds that shaped these ideas into reality and the dedication that made the entire day a success.

Certificates of Recognition were awarded to our hard-working SSLG Officers, C.A.T. Officers, and Campus Journalists, as well as our SSLG Moderator and SAP Coordinator. Additionally, the top 5 artists from the Craft Area, whose artworks captured everyone's eyes, received certificates of participation and tokens.

The event concluded with heartwarming Closing Remarks from our School Guidance Designate, Sr. Haide De Los Santos, followed by the singing of "Notre Dame, Our Mother." Afterward, students cleaned up their classrooms and headed home safely.

𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗘𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗗𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺: 𝗔 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗕𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻𝘀 ✨

Just this morning, June 8, at 7:00 AM, the Opening Day celebration officially began. The event kicked off with a vibrant parade featuring students from Grades 7 to 12, administrators, faculty, and the LFSI Band members. The ceremony continued with a solemn prayer, the singing of the Lupang Hinirang and the Sugbo Hymn, and a special prayer for our country.

The program transitioned into the introduction of our SSLG officers, band members, C.A.T. officers, and student journalists. To keep the energy high, our SSLG officers performed an intermission number to the song “Girl in the Mirror,” followed by a powerful vocal performance of “The Climb” by Mary Loren Flores.

The morning festivities concluded with a short intermission, giving students time to enjoy their snacks and recharge before the official opening of the booths.
