𝐉𝐔𝐍𝐄 𝟏𝟐 | 𝐏𝐇𝐈𝐋𝐈𝐏𝐏𝐈𝐍𝐄 𝐈𝐍𝐃𝐄𝐏𝐄𝐍𝐃𝐄𝐍𝐂𝐄 𝐃𝐀𝐘 🇵🇭
Today, we commemorate the 128th Anniversary of the Proclamation of Philippine Independence—a historic moment when Filipino revolutionaries, led by Emilio Aguinaldo, declared our nation's freedom from Spanish colonial rule on June 12, 1898, in Kawit, Cavite. This courageous act symbolized the unwavering spirit and patriotism of Filipinos who fought and sacrificed for the liberty we enjoy today.
As we honor our heroes and their legacy, may we remember that independence is more than a milestone in history—it is a responsibility. Let us continue to uphold the values of unity, integrity, and love for our country by becoming active citizens who contribute to nation-building in our own ways. May the flame of freedom continue to inspire every Filipino to dream, serve, and strive for a better future.
