On this day, 40 years ago, a praying and united people shattered dictatorship and reclaimed their rightful freedom. A living testament that no one, not even the most powerful, has the right to silence, deceive, or subjugate the very people of this nation.

EDSA AT 40 | 40 years ago, ordinary Filipinos stood before tanks - not with weapons, but with rosaries. Faith filled EDSA. Prayers echoed louder than gunfire. God-rooted courage reshaped the nation.

Urged by Jaime Cardinal Sin, thepeople responded, stood together as one nation. They chose conscience over fear. They chose moral courage over silence. They chose one another.

Real power is not force - it is unity in faith, courage for truth.

40 years later, we ask:

Do we still live the true meaning of People Power?
Power to defend truth?
Power to stand for justice?
Power to protect the dignity of every Filipino?

EDSA is not just history.
It is our responsibility.
It is our power.

Today, November 25, we celebrate the birthday of our community's "El Musiquero." The man whose hands are gifted with the skills by which heaven and earth meet through a melodious symphony of notes.
