In continuous commitment to academic excellence, the ACT partnered with Break the Fake Movement to conduct the AI in Education Seminar last May 29, 2026. Supported by the ASEAN Foundation and Google. org, this focused session aimed to empower our faculty members by exploring the practical, innovative, and ethical integration of advanced AI tools directly into their teaching workflows and instructional design.

The seminar was headlined by Paolo Miguel Ordonio, a distinguished development professional and Licensed Professional Teacher with over a decade of experience in Media and Information Literacy (MIL). As the Executive Director of the Break The Fake Movement, Ordonio shared invaluable insights on how educators can leverage AI responsibly to enhance classroom instruction, foster critical thinking, and guide students in the digital age.

By equipping our educators with these future-ready capabilities, we ensure that our faculty remains at the forefront of pedagogical innovation, effectively transforming the learning experience for all .

As part of ACT's continuing commitment to academic excellence and innovation, our faculty members participated in the Research and Scholarly Engagement seminar, designed to strengthen research culture and scholarly productivity within the institution.

The session was led by Miss Via, ACT's Vice President for Administration and Head of Research, together with Sir Paul and Sir Freeland from the ACT Office of Research , who shared their expertise and experiences in conducting meaningful research, fostering academic inquiry, and promoting evidence-based practices in education.

Through discussions on research development, scholarly engagement, and ethical academic practices, our educators gained valuable insights that will further enhance their professional growth and contribute to the advancement of knowledge within the community.

𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | 𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗧𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗦𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿

As part of ACT's Faculty Training Program in preparation for Academic Year 2026–2027, our educators continue to participate in a series of professional development seminars designed to strengthen teaching practices and enhance digital competencies.

Last May 25, educators attended the Digital Tools for Collaboration and Engagement Seminar, led by Miss Angel, ACT's Head of Marketing, Communications, & Digital Strategy. The session highlighted responsible social media use, digital citizenship, and institutional guidelines for online engagement.

The SDO Team, headed by Ma’am Ainna, also provided updates on the institution’s Learning Management System (LMS) and shared valuable insights on maximizing the use of Google Workspace tools in education.

Completing the seminar, Multimedia Head Sir Billy presented strategies for elevating classroom instruction through Canva, showcasing creative approaches to content design and the effective use of the institution’s Brand Kit.

Through initiatives like these, ACT remains committed to empowering educators with the knowledge and tools needed to create engaging, innovative, and technology-driven learning experiences.
