Last Wednesday, we were blessed to hear the message, “Immersed in God’s Process” by the Immanuel Assembly (IA) student-pastor and senior student, Mr. John Lloyd Gercan, based on 2 Kings 5:10–14.
Naaman’s journey reminds us that God’s process often requires more than understanding—it requires surrender.
As believers, we are called to immerse ourselves in God’s instructions, embrace humility instead of pride, and walk in complete obedience to His Word. It is through this obedience that God brings transformation in our lives.
May we continue to trust His process, even when it challenges our expectations, knowing that His ways always lead to growth, healing, and spiritual renewal.

Last Monday, we were blessed to hear a timely and encouraging message from the IBC President, the Rev. Dr. Wenifredo O. Capapas Jr., on the theme, “Immerse: In His Word, Presence, Power, and Work.”
This message reminded us that God calls us to a deeper relationship with Him. We are not meant to remain on the surface of our faith, but to be fully immersed in His Word, allowing it to shape our thoughts and actions. As we spend time in His presence, we find peace, strength, and direction for our lives. Through His power, we are equipped to overcome challenges, and through His work, we become vessels for His glory and purpose.
May this message encourage us to move beyond simply knowing about God and instead grow in truly knowing Him. Let us continue to seek Him daily and faithfully live out the calling He has placed upon our lives.
Don't just dip your toes into your faith—dive all the way in and experience the fullness of life in Christ.

Last Friday’s Acquaintance Party was a memorable evening of celebration, fellowship, and welcoming our freshmen into the Immanuel Bible College family. The night was filled with remarkable presentations; from the seniors’ heartfelt song number, the juniors’ creative live music-video performance, the sophomores’ witty musical presentation, and the freshmen’s special song number. Faculty and students alike enjoyed an atmosphere of joy, laughter, and meaningful connection.
One of the highlights of the evening was the message delivered by our faculty member, Mr. Bryle Homerson Caliwara, in line with our semester theme, “Immerse.” He reminded us that the environments in which we immerse ourselves inevitably shape who we become and prepare us for the mission God has entrusted to us.
Drawing from a biblical understanding of a camp, he compared IBC to a place of instruction and preparation, a community where we learn to position ourselves before God, grow in worship, and cultivate Christ-centered relationships. Just as the camp of Israel was a gathering place where God’s people received direction before moving forward, IBC serves as a training ground where future laborers are equipped for service. And just as Israel followed the movement of the pillar of fire, we too are called to move in obedience whenever God says, “Go.”
Indeed, it was more than just an evening of fun and entertainment, it was a reminder that our time of immersion today is preparing us for God’s mission tomorrow.

From April 13 to May 1 2026, 15 of our freshmen and sophomore students faithfully completed their Evangelism Practical and Church Planting by participating in the Summer of Service (SOS) in Dauis, Bohol.
Through evangelism and community outreach, they became instruments of God’s love—bringing the Gospel and building connections within the community. By God’s grace, the goal was fulfilled: a committed core group of believers was established and entrusted to the pioneer pastor.
We rejoice in the planting of a new church, Hope of the City Church – Dauis Campus, now led by Pastor Ralph Sergio Patulada and his wife Pastora Mary Ann.
To our dear students, we are proud of you! Your labor in the Lord is never in vain.
