Organized by the 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐭𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐬𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐨 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐬 (𝐈𝐁𝐒), The launching gathered distinguished guests from various sectors, including Students Organization, public office, civil society, and private sector. Among the attendees were 𝐒𝐚𝐦 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐤, Country Representative of The Asia Foundation; 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟. 𝐒𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐡 𝐀. 𝐑𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐦, 𝐁𝐚𝐢 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐦𝐚 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐮𝐢𝐫, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐫. 𝐌𝐨𝐡𝐚𝐣𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐧 𝐀𝐥𝐢. explore the powerful, everyday narratives that have driven the Bangsamoro movement toward self-determination, identity, and peace.

In his message, 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐫. 𝐌𝐨𝐡𝐚𝐣𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐧 𝐀𝐥𝐢. highlighted the necessity of passing down the lessons of the Bangsamoro struggle to the youth. He emphasized that continuous dialogue, mutual understanding, and constructive negotiation are vital to maintaining peace and securing a brighter future for the Bangsamoro region.

Moving beyond a simple timeline of history, this work amplifies the voices of everyday individuals, families, and professionals who have anchored the Bangsamoro journey through their sheer resilience. By exploring themes like culture, community engagement, and peace leadership, the event shed light on the lived experiences that actively shape contemporary Bangsamoro identity.

Hopefully, this event serve as a inspiration for students, Youth, and the wider Bangsamoro community to recognize the value our history and engage in open dialogue, using our shared stories to build a more united and harmonious future of the bangsamoro region.

Please be informed that classes for all undergraduate programs for the First Semester of Academic Year 2026–2027 will officially begin on July 13, 2026 (Monday).

Further, all undergraduate classes shall be held in face-to-face mode. Virtual or online classes may only be implemented when necessary and with prior approval from the University President.

In partnership with relief efforts being coordinated through Mindanao State University–General Santos, the USC joins the call for support and humanitarian assistance. The historic event, held at the Mall of Alnor Convention Hall in Cotabato City, was organized and led by the 𝐆𝐋𝐎𝐁𝐀𝐋 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐓𝐇 𝐀𝐌𝐁𝐀𝐒𝐒𝐀𝐃𝐎𝐑𝐒 𝐌𝐔𝐍 & 𝐒𝐈𝐍𝐀𝐆 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐓𝐇 𝐏𝐇𝐈𝐋𝐈𝐏𝐏𝐈𝐍𝐄𝐒.

The program commenced with the opening remarks of 𝐌𝐫. 𝐉𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐲 𝐓𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐬, Director-General, who welcomed all delegates and highlighted the importance of youth participation in addressing today’s challenges through leadership, innovation, and service. 𝐆𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐨𝐫 𝐀𝐦𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐧, 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐨𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐂𝐳𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐚 𝐈𝐭𝐨, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐄𝐱𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐡𝐚𝐦 𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐛, who actively took part as official delegates of the conference.

A significant highlight of the session was the inspiring message delivered by 𝐌𝐬. 𝐅𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐞 𝐆𝐮𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐢, Cotabato City Youth Development Officer, who shared valuable insights on youth leadership and personal growth. She reminded every participant to embrace challenges with courage and confidence, emphasizing that Do not fear failure, face it. She concluded her message with a powerful reminder which is to Stay curious, stay grounded, and stay rare.

The day concluded with an empowering message from 𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐮 𝐉𝐚𝐦𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐇𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐦 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐥𝐚, who encouraged young leaders to remain steadfast in advocating for positive change despite uncertainties and challenges. He left the delegates with words that will continue to inspire action and courage by stating that Speak even when your voice trembles.

As the conference continues, may these messages serve as a reminder that leadership begins with courage, resilience, and a genuine commitment to serve.

Together, we move forward in empowering youth-led solutions for a better and more sustainable future.
