Datu Mohammad A. Sinsuat Sr. Integrated School – Matuber Annex Joins the 2nd Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED)

Today, June 18, 2026, at exactly 9:00 AM, Datu Mohammad A. Sinsuat Sr. Integrated School – Matuber Annex actively participated in the 2nd Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) in collaboration with the BLGU of Matuber.

This activity provided learners, teachers, and barangay officials with the opportunity to practice proper earthquake response procedures and strengthen their preparedness for emergency situations. It also served to enhance awareness, readiness, and disaster response capabilities in the event of earthquakes and other hazards.

Through the regular conduct of earthquake drills, the school continues to promote a culture of safety, preparedness, and resilience while emphasizing the importance of following the proper “Duck, Cover, and Hold” procedure during emergencies.

Preparedness today leads to safety tomorrow. Together, we build a safer, more resilient, and disaster-ready community.

'Amun Jadid, or the First Day of Muharram, falls on June 16, 2026 and is classified as a 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗴𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗼 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗺𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗠𝘂𝘀𝗹𝗶𝗺 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗼 (𝗕𝗔𝗥𝗠𝗠)

Pursuant to the Bangsamoro Holidays Act (BAA No. 39), holidays identified under Presidential Decree No. 1083 that are not specifically designated in the Act are observed as Special Working Holidays. Therefore, government offices, schools, and other workplaces in the region shall operate as usual on June 16, 2026.
