Bridging Curiosity and Innovation: Research Exhibit 2026 ๐ฌโจ
The future of science took center stage as the Grade 10 Science, Technology, and Engineering (STE) students from sections Archimedes and Newton successfully held the Research Exhibit 2026. This culminating activity served as a grand showcase of ingenuity, where student-researchers proudly presented their accomplished studies and innovative outputs.
Under the expert guidance of their research teacher, Maโam Nieva D. Sarmiento, these young minds pushed the boundaries of inquiry across five diverse categories:
๐ฑ Life Science
โ๏ธ Physical Science
๐ก Science Innovation Expo
๐ค Robotics and Intelligent Machines
๐ Mathematics and Computational Science
The exhibit was greatly distinguished by the presence of our Assistant Schools Division Superintendent, Maโam Anna Liza M. Chan and our School Principal IV, Dr. W***y Guieb. They engaged in high-level academic discourse with several research groups, meticulously reviewing their methodologies and offering profound insights that challenged and inspired our budding scientists.
The program reached its peak with the announcement of the Best Display Boards and Best Presenters, celebrating the excellence and effective communication of our learners. We also took this opportunity to formally acknowledge the dedicated Research Paper Advisers for their invaluable mentorship and technical expertise.
With Heartfelt Gratitude
This success is a testament to the collaborative spirit of our educational leaders. Our sincerest thanks go to:
โข Dr. Rowena C. Banzon, Schools Division Superintendent
โข Maโam Anna Liza M. Chan, Assistant Schools Division Superintendent
โข Maโam Cherry A. Cayabyab, Education Program Supervisor for Science
โข Dr. W***y U. Guieb, School Principal IV
โข Maโam Virginia Dela Rosa, Assistant School Principal

A meaningful and enriching session with Maโam Anna Liza M. Chan, Assistant Schools Division Superintendent, as she shared valuable research tips and insights drawn from her extensive trainings and experiences. Her discussion provided the STE Grade 9 students of Dagupan City National High School with a deeper understanding of the research process from formulating strong questions to presenting findings with confidence and clarity.
Through her expertise, students were guided on how to think critically, organize ideas systematically, and uphold integrity in conducting research. More than just techniques, Maโam Anna Liza emphasized the importance of curiosity, perseverance, and continuous learning in becoming effective young researchers.
She also highlighted the International Science and Engineering Fair as a powerful source of motivation, encouraging students to strive for excellence and produce high-quality, innovative research outputs that can compete on a global stage.
Thank you, sir W***y Guieb, School Head of DCNHS, who allowed us and gave support to make this possible. This was also supported by Maโam Cherry A. Cayabyab, Science Education Supervisor, and Maโam Susan Abella Saldajeno, Science Department Head, whose leadership made this learning experience possible. Also with us was Maโam Virginia Dela Rosa, schoolโs assistant principal.
This opportunity not only enhanced the studentsโ knowledge and skills but also inspired them to approach research with greater purpose and passion. Truly, a session that empowered future innovators and thinkers.
