Day 4 (Last Day) of the Division-Led Training of Teachers (DLTT) for the Revised English 10 Curriculum at Francisco E. Barzaga Integrated High School last May 22, 2026 marked the end of a meaningful and productive professional learning journey.
The workshop gave us valuable knowledge and practical experiences in creating aligned and learner-centered lesson plans based on the Revised English 10 Curriculum. It also highlighted the importance of using checklists in assessing lesson plans and developing quality WAP outputs to support effective teaching and learning.
One of my significant learnings from this training is the importance of aligning learning competencies, objectives, teaching strategies, and assessments in preparing effective lesson plans. This alignment helps ensure that students achieve meaningful and successful learning experiences.
As an educator, I also look forward to improving my skills in creating more innovative and learner-centered strategies and assessments that are responsive to the needs of learners under the Revised English 10 Curriculum.
Grateful for the learning, collaboration, and growth shared throughout this four-day training experience.

Day 3 of the Division-Led Training of Teachers (DLTT) for the Revised English 10 Curriculum at Francisco E. Barzaga Integrated High School last May 21, 2026 was another meaningful learning experience.
Speakers and Topic:
Ms. Vanessa Hordial - “Determining Appropriate Teaching Strategies for Optimal Learning”
Ms. Roma Marian Gudaña - “Assessing Learning.”
The sessions helped us better understand how to choose effective teaching strategies and create assessments that match students’ learning needs.
One important lesson from today’s training is that curriculum, teaching, and assessment should work together. When lessons, teaching strategies, and assessments are aligned, students can learn better and achieve the expected learning outcomes more effectively.
